  Question Regarding Faithful & Wise Servant Being An Individual

  sorry to be so blunt, but you only have yourself to blame if you realize something is wrong but allow your cognitive dissonance to kick in.

  if you are confronted with facts which are reported by reliable sources which are hard to dispute and deny, and you choose to dismiss these as "apostate lies" rather than looking at these from an objective point of view, it's your fault and you deserve the consequences of willful ignorance!.

  Divergent-Good for you to speak your mind and defend your position. I had come to this board with similar feelings regarding these people who believe that 'lying for the TRUTH' is acceptable. I mean who could think such a thing would be alright? What I found out is that these issues are more complicated than that.

  WT opinion about anointed Christians

  jesus said "look to the fruits" of real christians.. it is unbelievable that the wt says that new anointed christians are merely false.

  how can humans decide who is anointed and who's not?.

  how can the watchtower society say these unchristian statements?

  JW Sister: raped, pregnant what does she do?, abortion or adoption?

  this question came out frequently from a situation known to some of us who knew of 2 cases.... if a single or married sister gets rapped by stranger or incest, a pregnancy results, she is not allowed to have an abortion but neither is she allowed to give it up for adoption?...i always question why not up for adoption?...

  no you will be blood guilty because the child won't be raised in the "truth"... hmmmmm does anyone heard of that?

  is it a matter of consciousness?

  2ndly, one can get an abortion almost anywhere. If there is one thing that is not denied to the american public, it's abortion clinics.

  Trinity

  There is an abundant amount of scriptural evidence implying that God is a trinity without the word 'trinity'.

  These scriptural passages [and plenty more] are not promoted by the WTS.

  Off the top of my head

  ACTS 5 :3-4 is a proof text. Peter calls the Holy Spirit God. You have lied to the Holy Spirit. You have lied to God he says.

  ISAIAH 9 :6 states that Jesus is God. A child is born, a son is given, he is to be called, wonderful councilor, mighty God, eternal father.

  Similar to the hell texts. Jesus spoke more of hell then he did of heaven, yet those are scriptural passages the the WTS will play down and in some cases simply deny.

  Worth mentioning that no matter HOW a pregnancy happens, the child is always innocent.

  Hitler killed millions and was very passionate about his killing.

  Joseph Stalin killed millions without passion, just didn;t care.

  Abortions have killed more than every murder, war, drunk driver, or any other violence thru all of recorded history. Just saying

  my father is still in the truth but keeps in touch with me from time to time.

  the other day, he sent me an email about how the generation could be a 120 years like it was for noah.

  so, i responded saying that itd be a good thing if it turned out to be true; that he may believe it to be true, as long as he doesnt judge people who dont feel the same way.

  Hi Stephane,

  Your dad is responding the same you that you'd respond before your learned the TRUTH ABOUT THE TRUTH.

  HE is still conditioned to judge.

  Now that you are not, try to show him with your love and actions as opposed to explaining your position as he won;t listen to that.

  to find these answers you would need the latest watchtower magazines. Be sure that you have the latest watchtowers as the answers to those questions may change according to the brighter understanding of the Jehovah's witness interpretations of the catholic book aka the bible

  Overlapping generation pushed me to the brink

  i guess the big thing for me to push me over the edge is the generation overlapping thingy.

  sorry that people must learn TTATT like this. I am still amazed that my brother and his family are still embedded in the WTS.....when you believe that it is appropriate to 'lie for the TRUTH' , then a little thing like overlapping generations doesn't even raise an eyebrow
