"Should you believe in the trinity?" was a publication that the wts was quite proud of as I recall.
I wonder what ever became of that booklet?
seeing on another post here about former jws throwing away literature.
i am curious as to the various opinions on there value.. for me i have been inactive for 3 years almost 4. i still have alot of books and of course all their bibles ever produced (except a few from the 1800s.).
in my opinion i think there are four books the jws produced that are useful:.

imagine the case where a student disagrees with his teacher's method, and believes that he knows a better way.
the teacher realizes that if he kicks the student out of the classroom, the other students may begin to wonder if the teacher was hiding something.
to settle the matter once and for all, the teacher gives the student a chance to prove himself.. wisely, the teacher takes a moment to lay down the parameters for the challenge.
The question is 'Is the teacher accredited? Is the teacher qualified?
From the WTS? Sorry, not accredited or qualified.
In other words, they have no authority to teach anything bible related,
Any authority that they claim is self claim only,
Question those 'teachers'
as per report generated by ttt (tingtopten.com) watchtower is the most popular magazine in the world.
is it still the most popular magazine among readers?.
source: https://tingtopten.com/2020/01/top-10-most-popular-magazines-in-the-world/.
Not the most popular, just the biggest production from the biggest publisher.
Typical of the deceitful ways the WTS promotes most of it's distorted reality.
Up next- NWT is the most accurate in the world....
they used to say the world governments would turn on religion.
i think this part is coming true.
however they also said since jehovah’s witnesses were going to be the only religion left the governments were going to focus on the “eyeball”of jehovah, his people.
Yes, JWs are right that the bible is considered the word of God and Jesus DID exist.
That's all I got......
some questions you may like to ask a jehovah`s witness?.
1.when did the modern day jw religion begin?
we all know the stock answer to that q that they will give ,but persevere .. for the past 2000 years there has never been an organization known as jw.
1.When did the modern day JW religion begin?
A_even including the IBSA, the religion is less than 200 years old. Impossible to be the truth of Christ in any way what so ever.
2.They claim that they were chosen in 1919 by Jesus at his inspection when he returned invisibly in 1914
A_ another ridiculous claim that has no basis in reality in any way. Jesus did not inspect all religions and grant the WTS as the best. It's just another lie.
3.The beliefs and practices of the IBSA were/are rejected by the JW`s of today ,so if what they beleived and preached back then they would be rejected by GOD today
A_Awake and Watchtower articles contradict their own publications and beliefs constantly. Old publications can be considered apostate material. Try to figure that one out.
How is anyone still involved with this organization?
When did the bible become the all or nothing authority? It's a Catholic book and they use it for their liturgy, not as their guide to living, only as a guide while living.

i look back on my life & realize all major mistakes fall at the feet of the jw leadership.
no college, no birthdays, basically no celebrations.
lived my younger years as an outcast.
Really, with it's dishonesty ingrained in it's doctrine, it seems like the JW leadership has a deep seated hatred for it's own flock
this short video contains a few quotes from the wt that may help loved ones wake up a bit.
i thought it was pretty well done.
i wish the title wasn't so "in your face", but rather eased into it a bit more discreetly.
"Lying for the TRUTH tm"
i am in earnest.
i will not excuse; i will not equivocate;.
i will not retreat a single inch.
Authority- it is real, but overlooked and not scrutinized in reality.
The bible is Catholic book. It was always a Catholic book and only a small part of the Catholic faith. It was specifically developed for use in their liturgy.
It was not ever intended as a guide to Christianity as the cannon of the bible was not fully accepted/confirmed until the late 4th century [around 382ad].
The Catholic church created and protected it though the centuries. How could anyone else say that they have a better or more valid authority on interpreting the bible?
If there is no authority [other than a 'self appointment'], then you will be likely be mislead.
Interesting [to me] that relics, candles, incense, sacraments and prayers from the Catholic Church are ridiculed, but their scriptures are honored in word, but not in deed.
Authority. Who has it?
just curious of others thoughts.....while watching the latest round of convention videos with my pimi wife it was highlighted again in the content how much the wt org.
has always focused on the past (in my opinion).
many of the historical events that are highlighted as significant are from 100+ years ago in some cases.
the end was supposed to happen 45 years ago in 1975
No it wasn't. They only told people it was supposed to happen. Much like THEY did a dozen other times....
They're not interested in THEIR history.
