  What is is your favorite REDICULOUS JW falsehood? :)

  i get a few good laughs from the ex-jw facebook site: " ex jw humor will set you free".. i was laughing over dinner with 3rd gen over this post tonight: "question for the audience: i was driving around today and it hit me...there are big falsehoods (armageddon etc.

  ) that we were told, but also ridiculous falsehoods.

  what is your favorite ridiculous falsehoods?

  Hey Phizzy, I’ve never heard of that. What source/s of modern scholarship cast doubt?

  There are literally thousands and thousands of pages of these historical documents.

  The best part about the early church fathers is that they heard the real deal from the apostles themselves or from those who heard it from the apostles themselves.

  Great opening to the topic that has been forgotten about in a system that promotes having a short memory…😉

  many years ago we would be on someone's doorstep, when waiting for the house holder to come to the door we say something like ... yea after the big a this is going to be my house.

  imagine saying that today with the common use of doorbell cameras and the squatting problem .

  Sea Breeze,

  you are exactly right. When going rogue anything goes. That’s why there are 40,099-50,000 different types of Christianities. People read the Bible and totally reject the historical legitimate reasons for its use and development. As if they know better than the earliest Christians. I guess that’s what you say when you realize that you’re not actually a restoration movement, but rather a new semi faith.

  Your position VH just does not make sense. How could God destroy his creation of humanity but he not destroy his creation of fallen angels? It just doesn’t ring true does it?
