They were probably in a rush to get to the meeting and left the cooker on or forgot to turn an appliance off. They could have gone out anywhere and done that. Perhaps one of the local branch offices will put them up until their house has been repaired. Ha Ha perhaps the local congration will have a collection and pay for them to stay in an hotel if their insurance doesn't cover it. If they had stayed at home it may not have happened.

Hi Flipper Mr Bumble here Any one who has read the first few chapters of genesis will clearly see that God has a an unaltered fixed purpose and as far as God is concerned it is accomplished. We as humans merely have to sit tight and watch it unfold in faith. It is true that in his word he has given peoples certain landmarks to give confidence in his purpose and i don't have a problem with people enjoying-sincere-
-speculation and 'getting it wrong' 'I do that myself,' providing it is only speculation and people have a right to disagree. However this is not the case with the WT org. their so called new light is absolute at the time and there is no room for discussion or debate, they view that as disloyal and diversive. They will only change it when the GB realise they have it wrong then comes 'The Double Talk'-'We are not- Inspired' It's Human Imperfection' 'Theocratic- Ajustment' 'Wrong Expectation' 'Tacking in the Wind,' more like p****** in the wind and blame any disapointment by the rank and file on a lack of faith because in their tiny minds and arrogance they believe they have a monopoly on God. I know this has all been said before please excuse me. They turn on their own and split families apart because of not agreeing with mere SPECULATION. When they get it wrong 'they are not inspired' When they think they are correct 'their spirit directed'.- 'DOUBLE TALK'. Iam not suggesting that individuals cannot receive Gods spirit of direction in their lives and that God would not reveal the progessive understanding of his word that may benefit others but it's not exclusive to any one person or religion and people have the right to enjoy their God given FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE to make up their own mind without bullying tactics from the org.or any individual.

How did you respond?
by Simon Morley inwe have not attended any meetings for several months now as we continue our fade.
how have you dealt with the nosey parkers who hold the territory that you live in and insist on "dropping by".
first it was the family that holds the card and then a coule of other familes as they work our territory.. i am tired of not answering the door (they know we are home) and need a cute but not revealing comeback to the "we miss you at the meetings" line.

Hi simon have you read the amazing story of jay walters on freeminds and how he tried to fade it took him about six years in the end but it was such a good story he was partaking of the emblems and had a family he managed over the six years to encourage them all out of the org. my hubby and I were glued and on the edge of our seats. He was trying to read Ray franz crisis of c. and had to keep hiding its was like something out of a spy thriller. He was always evading elders and callers. It was one of the first things I read on freeminds we were captivated. We started a fade where we lived for a while a managed to avoid callers and responded like blondie and nugget and then we moved which made it easier. we were determined to do it our way.

actively defending a child molester ,is it a disfellowshipping offence ?
by looloo inhi , teel has commented on another thread about a po being disfellowshipped for actively defending his sons "deed"that resulted in his son being sentt to prison , it does not say what the crime was , and this made me wonder if a po got disfellowshipped for this is it possible that the wife and family of my childs rapist got into any trouble for supporting him , rather than my daughter (we are not jws) and the other jw victims , she supported him and took him back after his prison sentence, his brothers were verbally and physically abusive to another victims jw mother calling her now grown up daughter a liar etc (outside the kingdom hall ) it amazed me when i saw her out on the ministry , why would she be allowed to represent "the truth" when she does not know it herself ?
just imagine if she had a "call" that showed a interest in having a study with her , and that study asked about her kids and husband ?
imagine her saying "oh yes i have two wonderfull children im raising alone at the moment because my husband is a convicted child rapist serving a prison sentence for raping my old school friends as children and my friends child but i think they all made it up despite not having any contact with eachother for over ten years !

Elders wife says being upset with pedophiles in the hall being the same as having to eat sauerkraut and wieners.
by life is to short inthis couple in our hall an elder and his wife gave us a anniversary gift.
it is a wall hanging that says "as for me and my household sister life is to short and hubby will worship jehovah forever.".
i felt i should send her a thank you card even though i hate the gift.
