  Hubby and I are starting a workshop at our Church to help them when witnesses call. Also my hubby is hoping to go on sky revelation tv to give his testimony in a couple of months, He is also writing a book about living with OCD and mental illness as a JW.

  Most people I have met are never happy with their hair, people with curly hair want it straight, people with straight hair want it curly, people without hair, like my hubby wouldn't care what their hair was like as long as they had some. LOL

  I was wrongfully Disfellow shipped out...help

  in 04 i was brought before a comitee of 3 elders and admited to sex before marriage, given my situation at the time i fell short, i showed repentance for it and they said they were going to recomend i leave for awhile to find myself spiritually...(wow the only time they got one right) i did find myself spiritually through other means.

  now i have a question since i no longer want to be a part of this organization and i was cast out from it, shouldnt my records with my personal information be destroyed?

  if its in a file that i do not want to exist?

  Baltar447 You took the words right out of my mouth, the organisation does not even begin to understand the extent of Gods mercy, Jesus message, the true Gospel of Grace, repentance and forgiveness and [no condemnation]. I am so sorry you were treated so harshly pes021. Their decision has backfired and has woken you up. You are no longer under their control and are free, now you can leave it all behind.

  When hubby and I came to realise what the watchtower really was we started to fade and had mentaly walked away as we had family still in, however as we realised that we wanted to serve the Lord and had not lost our faith in God, only in the organisation of [MEN], we thought why should we play their game and walk away with our tails between our legs, but rather go with our heads held high, particularly when we realised that we would need a different tactic to get our family out, so we decided to send a letter of resignation in for what it was worth, and we stated that any information on us be disposed of but we did understand that the contents of our letter may need to be shown to relevant parties and requested that tact and consideration of the data protection act and the data protection policy be adhered to as the organisation seems to be very keen on policies themselves.

  I have very fine hair and I always wanted curly hair and tried to have perms, but the perms just would not take and fell out. I was told this had something to do with the structure of my hair. I use hot curling tongs to curl it, I have even slept in painful curlers when I was younger and suffered for my vanity and woken up with headaches. Autumn time my hair falls out in bunches, do any of you have this problem, I hate it as my hair is thin enough already.

  When I complain hubby says at least you've got hair. LOL

  LOL Snowbird, nip over to mine and we'll go round to the local fish and chip shop, we can also order pineapple fritters, and then eat them on the way home. I'ts cold outside there is nothing like a piping hot bag of chips and eating them outside when it's cold. I need some cheering up.

  THE Book

  this is probably directed more to dubs who are having doubts than to ex-dubs, but it is still appropriate for both groups.

  i'll only be offering my own personal opinion here, of course, but then again, i'm never wrong about anything.

  well, i was wrong once; that was the time i thought i was wrong about something.. when it comes to definitive books which clearly expose the wts for what it really is, there is one which towers over all the others, and that book is 1984 by george orwell.

  'I'm never wrong about anything' LOL farkel I wish I could say that. I so agree with you about reading the book 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' by George Orwell, the parallel is truly scary. It is a must read you won't want to put down. I recommend it to everyone. I haven't read the book you mentioned ' The Orwellian world of 'Jehovah's Witnesses' I'll try and find it.
