well, i must digress..... i was traveling home from work last night when a biker and i both stopped at ajoining stop signs at the same time.

i waved for him to go ahead of me (two roads were converging into one).

he flashed me this goregous smile and went ahead down the country road in a blaze of leather and hair on his steel gray harley.

encouraged by a tinny tapping sound coming up from the depths, rescuers brought in a huge drill thursday in a race to save nine coal miners trapped 240 feet underground in a dark shaft filling up quickly with millions of gallons of frigid water.

crews pumped air into the 4-foot-high chamber where the men were believed to be, hoping it would buy them enough time to drill a large hole and pull survivors out of the mine 55 miles southeast of pittsburgh.. it was unknown how high the water was in the shaft, but officials said the cold water was rushing past them as they huddled in the dark.

A hand needed from some mates

it's been a truly excellent summer so far, i knew it was going to be, had that gut feeling, today however, i received bad news on the farm negotiations on which it was planned to set up our alternative arts and environmental education project, effectively it's a complete no no on that site.

ok, so i had told myself, that if this was going to happen, i would have to start exploring other options.

so uk'ers, if you can contact me if you know of any employment locally, please send through to me some further options, i'm seriously thinking of moving on from this county for a bit, save up a few pounds and then take myself off backpacking around the world, alternative style.
