  "They no longer attend meetings"

  word has got our that mr. and mrs. truthseeker no longer attend meetings.. we still live in the territory of our old congregation.

  instead of taking the time to call us and see how we're doing, the "friends" prefer to talk about us behind our backs, one of whom passed information to my wife's mother (who is a loyal witness) that we do not attend meetings.. just waiting for the ball to drop.. .

  If you know a GOOD counselor who specializes in this kind of thing, it may be good to have them communicate in a neutral environment, as well as solo w/ the counselor. nothing brings up issues like family, no matter how hard one tries or how well intentioned. Could make the transition much smoother if they both have the tools in place to deal with it.

  i was introduced last night to the wondrous beverage that is chimay red, beer brewed by trappist monks.

  .. now i have such a desire for more that i'm about to go out in the bitter cold to purchase a bottle of the blue label to try.

  He was found out by Mia when she found nekkid pics woody took, when Sun-yi, was, i believe underage. He was'nt convicted, but with his money, I'm not surprised. Dammit, I'm shaving my head! LOL.
  The subtext w/ Mariel Hemingway in "Manhattan" is disturbing, as I also believe that he puts alot of autobiographical stuff in his pics. I do like his early stand up. Hard to find but hillarious. I also have a hard time relating to the neurotic jew archetype, all my Jewish relatives wee boxers, cowboys, cops, firemen, tough bastards all, so...

  i just saw joel osteen on larry king on cnn.

  i don't know a lot about joel osteen.

  i've never read his books or watched him on tv but i was struck with how positive he is and how upbeat and encouraging his message is.

  Hmmm...BA mostly quoting ex-pharisee paul and old testament stuff, instead of radical loving, reforming Jesus. Kinda interesting, huh? Joel Osteen reminds me far more of Jesus' message rather than the JW, old testament kill-everybody-who-isn't-like-you doctrine. Or Paul. Those were LETTERS folks, not books, meant to be holy scripture later. Paul was a joke. Also not surprised @ the formerly respected by me until he showed what a bigot he was happy dad that he does'nt get Jesus message from Osteen.
