  Sunday School Teacher Indicted for Murder and Rape - Still Lots of ?????

  as some of you may have heard about the tragic rape and death of an 8 year old sandra cantu here in california in the town of tracy - there are still a lot of unanswered questions which beg to be answered and indeed the young girl's brutal murder cries out for an answer.. in case you missed it, to sum up briefly this young girl went missing from her mobile home park the end of march and for about 10 days the police and volunteers put on a massive manhunt .

  then finally after 10 days some farmworkers found sandra's body in a suitcase in an irrigation pond only about 2 miles from her home.

  search warrants were put out and neighbors were questioned including a baptist minister , his wife, and his 28 year old grandaughter melissa huckaby whose 5 year old daughter played with sandra all the time.

  Restrangled, look up Karla Homolka. It happens. Bizzy and I are roughly on the same page. It's rare. But it happens. And, Bizzy was right for the myriad reasons many of the kids I worked w/ had issues that were'nt reported for along time. Caregivers, society, etc. But people get really, really angry when this subject is brought up. Four or five years ago I brought up the issue of female molesters on here, and people got pissed at me for even imagining such a thing.

  The child abuse stats for women? Much higher than men. But, they're arond children in general far more, so it evens out to 50-50. Women can be violent, abusive and aggressive.

  a "brother'' from my cong was injured after he crossed the street without looking,...he was avoiding a recently df'd "brother".... the df'd bro is one of my best friends.

  the elders just announced that bro so & so was in an accident but no details.

  the df'd bro told me he tried to help as he was the only person who knew the injured bro,...to his shock he was shunned by the bro(injured)....he could'nt even tell him whether he was ok or not..... african gb member.

  I hope he was ok. Such a terrible shame that the shunning rules were applied to a terrible degree by this brother. Reminds me of the good samaritan story. How awful that the Df'd person did the good deed and STILL was shunned by the brother!!

  Even more relevant, as the Jews viewed Samaritans as "apsotate".

  I agree that all of those circumstances and behaviors added up are extremely rare. So were the circumstances w/ the child rapist/murderer

  Joseph Edward Duncan III, but stuff does happen. Not to say I know what happened or if she's guilty.

  but child molesters who are women are incredibly rare.

  I disagree, I believe it's just underreported. Look @ all the teachers getting busted lately. I've also worked in a similar field to you, Bizzy. About 40% of the kids I worked w/ who had been molested had been molested by females. I know, the stats say 14% etc. But i believe it's higher, and due to the fact that until very recently, even in this culture, if a boy or young teen slept w/ an older woman, he was "seduced" it was a "right of passage" not molestation, I know of very recent cases where the cops and even some therapists have LAUGHED when boys brought this up, refused to make an arrest, etc.

  And even 14% is "rare", not incredibly rare.

  what is wt policy concerning illegitimate children?.

  if child is conceived out of wedlock but parents wed before the birth, how does wt determine if they "qualify" for spiritual inheritance?.

  does wt have any policy concerning jehovah's acceptance of illegitimate children of single mothers?.

  by the same token, couldn't any religion use the same argument to excuse their flaws and atrocities?

  they are, after all, run by "imperfect" men as well.

  i guess that means they're actually inspired of god too, but simply run by imperfect men who make mistakes..
