No words Balsam.
I am again reminded how they presume to such a level to speak for god. How can they sleep?

just curious. How about blood?
by never a jw ini have never been a jw, but i have lived literally surrounded by them since i married my wife, almost 20 years ago.
since i never raised a fuss before, i guess i was also brain-washed into thnking that their religion was harmless and the leaders were well intended.. i have been reading your comments for many months and have come to realize how harmful the religion is.
your comments have been mostly about the pain inflicted by shunning, deception in the literature, and the views on higher education.

Oh StoneWall.
When I read it, I shed more tears that night than I had in many years.
I can't see to type.

Everyone wants to be immortal. Few are. Mrs. Thatcher is. Why?
As well, Ivan the Terrible. Likewise.
Because her values are timeless, eternal. Tap anyone on the shoulder anywhere in the world, and ask what Mrs Thatcher “believed in,” and they will tell you. They can give a clear answer to what she “stood for.”
Imperialism, greed, classism?

'1600 years of Ice melting in 25 years is a bad omen'
by designs inglaciologists from ohio state university have been studying the ice fields in peru.
tropical peru is home to ice formations 18,000 feet up in the quelccaya region, the largest of these tropical region ice sheets.. the glacier is melting so quickly that plant samples are having to be frozen artifically so that scientists 30 years from now can have something to study, lonnie thompson from the university said in the interview.
the ice field is the smallest it has been since the last ice age.. peruvians rely on the water from the glaciers, which will be reduced by 50% in their lifetime.

I'm on my way to bed, so I'll not be trying to explain anything tonight.
I would ask you two questions. Why is it that over 90% of climate scientists agree that man made climate change is an issue, and how/where were you directed to that Wiki article?
The article you reference specifically points out that before 1850 information is necessarily "reconstructed". After 1850..............
Bu I don't claim anything at this point, I took a very cursory glance.
Goodnight.

It's past time to think about population control, but that is contrary to capitalism. We are screwed.

3rd Oil Spill This Week
by designs inexxon, shell, and canadian pacific railway all had oil spills reported this week.
exxon and shell's oil spills were from ruptured pipelines and canadian pacific had a railcar accident.. the exxon spill flooded streets and the yards of homes outside of little rock arkansas and the shell spill occured outside houston texas near the vince bayou.
residents of the little rock community never knew that high pressure pipelines ran under their homes which is a disturbing fact being discovered more and more.

Two parties aren't enough to represent all of the views in America, unfortunately both are so entrenched I don't see anything changing for decades.
This is rather funny actually. There are only two viable parties. So if you aren't a homophobic bible thumping bigot, or a "free market" corporate zombie, you only have one choice. The Democrats. That is why they have had so much trouble winning over the last 35 years. They are a melting pot, whose issues are traditionally not monied. Currently the GOP has gone so far off the beam, that we are seeing a backlash. They have created a monster they can no longer control. The religious right.

Designs my friend, most of the idiots that deny man made climate change will continue to do so until they are under water or living in a desert. Likely even then. Those who make a bundle off of fossil fuels work hard to maintain their ignorance.
