i knew it could happen one day...yet i was so careful..... sitting at the sound cabinet, i had our awesome forum open on my tablet, and didn't see the microphone brother looking over at me...... he wandered over and asked me "whats that site?".

i quickly responded "oh, i googled to get to our jw.org site, and this must have popped up" while quickly closing it.... he didn't look too fussed, but my heart was beating..... he is pretty chilled out and certainly not an "uber-dub"...but this was a wake up call to be more careful...i am fading fast, but don't want anymore attention from the nazi-elders while doing so!.

Playing the wrong song and claiming the brother called out the wrong song in a loud voice as you announce the "right song" is always a real crowd pleaser...

If I was still on sound desk I'd bring my own special mix of the song. I'd pitch shift the music just enough to mess every one up

i don't know if anybody has seen this (or if anybody cares).

but it seems that some of the "new" new songs have been leaked by somebody at bethel.. just a bit of a warning, do not click on that vocal rendition of song 142... it is awful.

I'm with flipper on this one. Demand for the witnesses to the alleged offence to be there in person. Then question the hell out of them. Remind them that under the mosiac law that false accusations were punishable by stoning. Then question the elders if they will form a judicial committee to deal with the false witness.

Elders are bullies. Bullies back down when they are stood up to.

why report more partakers?

of all the threads here about the number of partakers increasing, i don't recall theories as to why they report this.

they could stop reporting numbers altogether or lie.

instead they say, in essence, "our teachings about end times and heavenly hope are still wrong"..

In the last congregation I attended there was a "brother" who started partaking He did this for. Few years until his wife died then he stopped because he wanted to be with her in the new system.

He is a little off. A little creepy too. Kind of a pervert type of guy.

Is the organization actually gaining more members or losing more?

last time i was at the kingdom hall they were praising themselves about all the growth in members they have been having.

is this "growth" they are having statistically accurate?or are a lot leaving?

The city I live in has experienced growth in the congregations at the expense of the surrounding congregations closing down.

Is the Watchtower is blind to Jesus' teachings?

jesus ate with common sinners declaring that they were in (matt 21:31).. jesus denounced religious leaders declaring that they were out (matt 23 esp v15).. still the watchtower persists in making their own determinations, according to their own rules, who is in and who is out (prov 17:15).

this is why the apostate watchtower ruling religious clergy class and hierarchy surreptitiously and contemptuously hate and obfuscate the unabridged gospel which teaches that a right and clean standing is imputed on the basis of grace (faith) and not merit (works).. are their similar instances that come to mind for you?.
