One day assembly
by Sour Grapes inat a recent one day assembly i walked away with the thought that the wtbts sure does not like witnesses who have the opportunity to make a good living.
there were, in one day, three experiences of witnesses who turned down "6 figure salaries" because there would be some traveling involved and some meetings would be missed as well as missing family worship night.
i thought it strange that the exact phrase was used of "6 figure salary".

IMO most of the counsel from the platform about high income earners stems from jealousy -

Air Canada Crash, oops, I mean "hard landing"
by Simon injust watched the news about the air canada crash in halifax that they want to claim was just a "hard landing".. i can only imagine the distinction matters for insurance purposes otherwise they are just being idiots.
pretty poor behavior for the airline whatever the motivation imo.. now i'm no plane expert but i think when then plane is smashed up, the engines have come off and the nose is in pieces that should be obviously classed as a crash.
if you can't take off again then you have been in a crash, not a hard landing.. .

March Broadcast- Jehovah is speeding up the work
by adjusted knowledge ini watched some of the segments on the jw broadcast.
in the video they showed how they managed their inventory orders for the congregations.
at the conclusion it was stated by the narrator how god is speeding up the work.. the problem is the system they implemented has been used for over two decades in logistics.

All indications are that corporations (and religions) that will survive and thrive in the 21st Century are the ones that abandon that structure.
the problem is that it is almost impossible to change the mentality of management unless an outside manager comes in and cleans house. Things will have to get a lot worse before they get better.
businesses go through phases entrepreneurial, maintenance and decline. Old joe rutherfraud and Nathan knorr created the Jehovah's Witness religion as it was from the 30's to about 10 years ago. They were the entrepreneurs. Fred Franz and co. Maintained the religion as it was until late 90s early 2000s. IMO the Jehovah's Witness religion is in the decline stage. The business model just doesn't work anymore. Thus the rebranding to a new jworg religion.
The biggest problem with companies that fail is that they promote yes men. This results in every generation of management being spineless and unable to make the tough decisions needed to navigate an ever changing business climate. They stay stuck in the 1950's while the rest of the world is in the 2015. Things change, and they change fast. If you are not adaptable you are left behind.

bullsh1t the bullsh1tters
love that terminology. Con the con artists is an other term.
As for lying on your field service report regular pioneers fabricate hours all the time. This whole religion is about appearances.
My mom and mrs hosers mom are on our case constantly too. It doesn't look good for them if we aren't "progressing" spiritually.

That is true hoser. But it makes me wonder if once the dominoes start to fall - LOOK OUT!
A rather mass exodus could occur. What do you think?
if the organization tightened the screws just a little bit more there would be a huge exodus. At the moment it can still be a religion of convenience. Show up to enough meetings to be visible, do the same for field service and don't express your true feelings and you can stay in the club.
Now on the other hand if the org demanded that everyone be a pioneer or started mandatory tithing then you would see people leave in droves.

Who's behind the WT / JW.org?
by elkatire1980 ini have always thought that the members of the governing body are just a decorative elements in the visible cusp of the organization.
i have read conspiratorial topics about who really rule, but they are not visible.
the shareholders of the corporation?

Donations to the Watchtower forinsurance likely just disappear into Watchtowers offshore CaptiveCompanies
Absolutely. I know of a Kingdom Hall involved in a natural disaster where they solicited for donations. What about the insurance the congregation has been paying into for decades?
The watchtower has its' cake and gets to eat it too! -

People who don't believe but pretend to perpetuate the problem. Observers see a "spiritually strong" jw and not the faker that he or she really is. It may delay some from waking up. -

The wt will never be on the leading edge of technology if they keep their current management strategy in place.
It is a top down hierarchal system. If a lower member comes up with a better way of doing business either the idea or the individual is dismissed.
I have worked for companies like this in the past All of them went bankrupt.
