  this video showed a married brother with three children living in a nice domicile and working full time.

  his employer demands that he change his working pattern such that it conflicts with his being able to attend wt meetings at the weekend.

  the brother decides not to yield to his employer’s demand and is thus dismissed.. the brother seeks for work very actively over a significant period but without any alternative being found.

  He is providing his families needs by quitting the job. Their spiritual needs. This is how the Jws will twist this scripture.

  A couple of things I noticed from the video are that he was portrayed as working a low end generally low paying job. I don't know how he could support his family at that pay grade under normal circumstances.

  Secondly, if the brother is as good of an employee as he thinks he is and was valuable to his company management probably would have respected his wishes not to work during his meeting time.

  the watchtower society was invested in the german branch of ford motor.

  in 1943, their investment was worth $597,595 ($8,363,677.95 in today's value - over 8 million!)..

  i always thought the foreman wore a white hard hat.

  We don't have Labor Day in canada. It's labour day spelled with a u in it meaning u get screwed over by your employer.

  Planning ahead for the desires of the flesh.

  i've just booked some cinema tickets for later today and also ordered a book i want to take on holiday.

  from nowhere that scripture they were always quoting at us came to me, something about don't be planning ahead for the desires of the flesh.

  you always had to be planning spiritual, theocratic stuff, entertainment and pleasure were a bit dodgy, better not tell anyone.

  I got my Bethel Application approved, I start in September

  I know I'd never make it in bethel. I'd sooner bust my ass for a "worldly" corporation and be able to pay someone to make my breakfast than work for free in that sweatshop.

  Besides mrs hoser is not submissive. She's been told that by the CO.
