  The elusive song 151 makes an appearance.

  the missing song 151 now titled "the revealing of god's sons" shows up with the september edition of tv.jw.

  no words or score on the jw page yet.

  can't say that it sounds any different than any of the other songs they produce now.

  My old congregation is gone

  went to the hall today as i was the designated driver for my parents.

  an elder who was in our old congregation in the city gave the talk.

  i've had a little chat with him and apparently our old congo is gone.

  The last hall I went to they had the congregation scrape together enough funds to renovate the hall and then within the year closed the congregation and sold the hall out from under us.

  Worshiping a piece of stone

  today one of the members of the local congregation who is somewhat limited intellectually was showing off a small bit of cut granite stone.

  as he did so he made sure to let everyone know that it was given to him by the congregation service overseer who just completed his second or third round of bragging rights slave labor at warwick.

  he mentioned that, "brother _______ gave this to me as a piece of reality from warwick.

  WT "Study" for 4th September 2016 - “Seek the Kingdom, Not Things”

  i’m sitting there in the kingdom hall just thinking how rich it is of the gbojw to preach about materialism when they have recently been evidenced to be using bro’s & sis’ contributions to the world wide work to travel business class!

  just that thought alone was leading me to read scripture while they were all engaged in the wt “study”.. however, then it came to paragraph 17 and i blurted / choked a little.

  the paragraph said that “we should not imitate the people of ‘the nations,’ who have no real faith in a loving heavenly father who cares for those who put the interests of his kingdom first in their life.”.

  I'm not going to the meeting today. I'm working at an evil secular job. I work way too many hours and need to cut back. It's not healthy anymore.

  The magazine article being studied today is meant to keep the sheeples in line . As soon as you have a measure of financial security many options are available to you. The watchtower doesn't want the competition. Poor people are easier to control.

  i got thinking ,which at times can seem erratic , it's the publisher cards that should of rung the loudest bell !

  i still can't believe i fell for believing early christianity had some writing reports to the apostles.

  wt legalisms are their foundation of the church..

  CLAM Video: Aug 22-28 2016 – “Jehovah Will Care for Our Needs”

  this video showed a married brother with three children living in a nice domicile and working full time.

  his employer demands that he change his working pattern such that it conflicts with his being able to attend wt meetings at the weekend.

  the brother decides not to yield to his employer’s demand and is thus dismissed.. the brother seeks for work very actively over a significant period but without any alternative being found.

  Crazyguy.

  A journeyman electrician can pull his own permits I think. Put an ad on Craigslist or kijiji and be the lowest bidder.

  Where I live we are currently in the deepest recession in over 30 years and lots of people crying the blues because there are no jobs. Try and hire a contractor right now? I thought there would be quality people lined up. The work ethic of these clowns is a joke.

  I stick to what I said before The guy was out of a job because he wanted to be. The same goes with the video . The "brother " that lost his cooking job lost the job because he wanted to.
