  Donated Jewelry -- where is it sold?

  not really sure in what forum this topic belongs -- trying to find out where kh or other jw org sells the jewelry that is donated to it..

  There are at least two jewelers in “the truth” that I know of in my part of the country. They are both high up elders because they are so spiritual wealthy.

  The branch probably pawns it through them

  Stuart imprisoned,tried and restricted.

  for the last month or so i have been watching all of stuart’s xjdub videos on youtube.. thanks to local congo’s of jws he has now been arrested and apparently mistreated and had actually quite weird restrictions placed on him to keep him away from carts, khs etc., by a court in vancouver.. he was out it would seem the next day carrying on his “ministry”.

  and successfully too.. i know his activities could be considered a little extreme at times, but i have felt encouraged by him and i wondered if anyone has any information on the whole situation..

  How the Borg could increase meeting attendance numbers

  i think that the 8 popes should allow the jdubs to count time driving to the meetings or even count their time being at the meetings.

  those who just listen over the phone can't count their time.. it would be a much better religious cult if the 8 self-licking ice cream popes would let their followers count their time for helping the elderly in the kingdumb haul with stopping by to have coffee, shopping, cleaning, cutting grass, etc.

  let them count time by visiting the friends in nursing homes, maybe even allow double the hours for the nursing home visits.. this probably ain't going to happen because the cart work is easier..

  There is a church in my town that had a classic car show a few Sunday’s ago. Drive to church with your mustang or corvette and they had a barbecue going and a bouncy castle for the kids. I was seriously thinking of switching over to them. Even better they are only a couple blocks from my house instead of all the way across town like the Kingdom Hall.

  Canadian Donations

  i stumbled upon this charitable status page for canada and thought that i would look for the watchtower society of canada.

  as they say the report is incomplete because it lacks the normal auditors process details.

  but donations received $64.4 canadian dollars!

  Circuit Assembly Experiences

  many years ago, in the congregation i attended at the time, there was a brother who had endured bad health over many years.

  as result he underwent a number of operations - a couple being life saving operations.

  at one or two circuit assemblies he was interviewed on the platform where he related how he endured ill health.. for me, i felt very uncomfortable listening to his experience and, i actually felt embarrassed for him because i have never been one to speak of any health issues i had, let alone publicise it from the platform.
