  seriously, it’s getting to a point that you can’t make a negative comment about someone without being charged as a racist, homophobe or sexist!

  if you criticize a female, you are obviously sexist.

  if you criticize someone who happens to be gay, you must hate homosexuals.

  When Trump says that no human being would want to live in Baltimore he is not being racist. White people live there too. He’s just calling them sub human.

  just got a phone call this morning from a very upset anointed brother.

  he said he didn't believe me when i told him about the pedo problem and selling off of halls.

  he said he was disgusted with the watchtower and had to go to a special meeting last night.

  It wouldn’t surprise me if the branch reviewed the contributions from each Kingdom Hall as well as the demographics of the congregation to see if the congregation is viable in the long term.

  It seems that there is a renovation that takes place shortly before the property is put up for sale and before the publishers are aware that their congregation will be dissolved. This makes the property easier to sell and it gets the publishers to donate money that they wouldn’t under normal circumstances.

  I’m with blondie on this one. Humans tend to block out the bad times. Two generations before me had:

  No running water

  An outhouse

  Poor medical care

  A grade 8 education

  No central heating in small drafty house

  But they had a radio and that made it all better

  I’ve never lived anywhere but canukistan. Born and raised here. I haven’t made any effort to move anywhere else and illegal immigrants want to enter so It mustn’t be that bad of a country.

  ordinarily i figure people are going to find their own way and that their life course is a matter of personal responsibility but occasionally i run into something that smacks me upside the head a little bit.

  yesterday i heard something about a young man that i knew decades ago.he was from a prominent family in the organization, the father was a successful businessman and you would see them frequently on the platform at circuit assemblies, etc.

  to be honest, i didn't particularly like the young man, i preferred the father, but the guy was bright and capable, we had mutual friends.

  The last time we studied the “Revelation Book” it was already old light but they sent an insert in the Kingdom ministry and we cut out the corrections and scotch taped them in the book to cover over the old light.

  I think it was 2006 ish. Maybe a bit earlier but it was one of the things that started me to wake up.
