I don’t think any of the rank and file dubs have noticed the august WT is missing yet.
Thats how much they actually pay attention.
Apostates and faders are more interested and knowledgeable about watchtower going ons than Jehovah’s witnesses are.
the september watchtower has already been released and is being discussed over on reddit.
some highlights: .
1. more hitting the flock on total reliance and obedience to god's representatives on earth today, the f&ds (the governing body, of course).

i am in western canada.
we use to have our assembly in saskatoon.
our assembly has moved to medicine hat.
I haven’t been to an in person regional convention since 2019.
I’m going this year to one so I’ll snap a few pics on my cell and see if an attendant shuts me down.

There used to be conventions in Saskatoon and Regina.
Then it was Saskatoon only and it was at Sask place. If I remember correctly there were about 6000 attending.
There was a convention in Saskatoon this year but at a much smaller venue. I’m not sure how many attended but the building only holds 2500 or so.
Edmonton is coming up in a week or so. Maybe someone can comment on how many attend. None of the jws want to attend Edmonton Because the arena is hard to access for people out of town but I hear that the watchtower gets a good deal on the rent. It is all about the watchtower as you know so the individual jws can just suck it up.
There used to be a convention in Grande Prairie in the early 2000’s but it hasn’t been there for ages.
word on the street is that the building manager didn’t like Jehovahs witnesses so they couldn’t have the convention there anymore.
That is the standard persecution spin the jws put on everything. I’m sure the building manager likes 💰 so it wouldn’t matter who is paying. My take is that the jws are so fucking cheap and hard to deal with that the building manager just rented it to someone easier to deal with.
i open a new topic, to find out how it's going in your area.
from what i see as a southern european in my constituency the situation is patchy.. the congregation where i am now has 30% old people on zoom but also young couples with almost all their cameras off.
no increase but a slight decrease in the total number of publishers.. circuit assemblies: before covid you couldn't find a free seat if you arrived 10 minutes before the start.
Where I’m at they did mergers a year ago and took away one congregation and sent the publishers to different congregations. The Kingdom Hall is still empty when I attend.
I think the higher ups are wondering where everyone went.
there was on older white-haired circuit overseer in houston around 1989 or 1990. last name started with a w i think.... not sure though.
even the most brain-dead robotic elders told me he was offensive.
.
I think the circuit overseers answer directly to the branch.
The DO was kind of a useless position anyway.
I remember Terry Attick telling the car group one time that the DO got a fancier car than the CO. He seemed a bit choked up about it as if his “free” car and gasoline wasn’t good enough from the lowly publishers.
Parasites
as an educated guess, the august 2024 watchtower may be delayed because 2 complicated subjects need to be discussed in this issue which haven't yet been approved to be included in the revised shepherding textbook.
perhaps the revised shepherding textbook must be finalised before this watchtower is released publicly.. the 2 subjects may be as follows:.
how to shepherd and appoint brothers based on the removal of the hour requirements, getting to know the brothers instead (does this mean prioritising appointing men who have auxiliary pioneered during the co visit and campaigns or men who are regular pioneers?).
Whatever was printed in the august watchtower it must be a big deal.
Think COVID.
When covid happened and Jws stopped the door to door work there were still magazines released months after March 2020 that referred to preaching and attending meetings. Nothing was changed or delayed in the magazines.
from the wt of october 1, 1921 p. 303:.
"nouncement.
was made concerning the makfng of certain film to be exhibited.
Anything for a buck!

Wayne Johnson. My parents worshipped the ground that he stood on. I think he’s dead now.
Ken Little. I think he might have been a CO back in the day. I’ve never met the man but my parents talk about him as he’s some god. In fact most of these people in the upper echelons of the Jay dub org don’t give a rats ass about the rank and file, unless you have money to donate.
Kevin Maloney. A rich kid born of privilege. His dad owns a chain of jewelry stores and was a non jw or a marginal jw.
I grew up with Kevin as a teenager and he had all the bmw and other fancy cars while the rest of us were trying to keep our old Chevy running.
He encouraged more than one middle aged couple to sell everything prematurely and cash in their retirements to go where the need is greater. I witnessed this entitled silver spoon CO tell people of modest means to totally screw up their old age finances.
Not everyone has a rich Daddy like you do Kevin!
blood transfusion history.
1665 the first recorded successful blood transfusion occurs in england: physician richard lower keeps dogs alive by transfusion of blood from other dogs.. 1818 james blundell performs the first successful blood transfusion of human blood to treat postpartum hemorrhage.. 1840 the first whole blood transfusion to treat hemophilia is successfully completed.. 1900 karl landsteiner discovers the first three human blood groups, a, b and o.. 1902 landsteiner’s colleagues, alfred decastello and adriano sturli, add a fourth blood type, ab.. 1907 blood typing and cross matching between donors and patients is attempted to improve the safety of transfusions.
the universality of the o blood group is identified.. 1914 adolf hustin discovers that sodium citrate can anticoagulate blood for transfusion, allowing it to be stored and later transfused safely to patients on the battlefield.. 1932 the first blood bank is established at leningrad hospital.. 1939-1940 the rh blood group is discovered and recognized as the cause behind most transfusion reactions.. 1940 the us government establishes a nationwide blood collection program.. so from the beginning of the watchtower being printed in 1879, they were ok with blood transfusions until 1945. what caused this?
Wow! Wouldn't it be great if we could prove Rutherford took blood transfusions?
The only transfusion Rutherford took was this one

this was leaked only few days ago and it's a small segment of the video from the 2024 convention that has already started.
the video shows a jw logo down while worried jws are watching it as a news item on their tv screens, others are seen hiding from the police, others driving is the countryside to escape the authorities.
Videos like this keep the jws on the eternal hamster wheel. No one makes any long term plans because the gt is right around the corner and the watchtower keeps them indoctrinated.
