It is cruel to children to have them take music lessons for years and then when they get good enough say they can't make a career of it because they will be surrounded by worldly people.
No matter what job they do they will be surrounded by worldly people. Why not do something they enjoy.

i came in during all the hype over 1975. the predictions about that date were the real driver behind all their activity.
since then, they haven't had a good goad to prod the sheep.
they seem to be smart enough not to try another date.. i think they plan to use fear instead.
I watched some of the videos and they are really ramping it up. IMO they want to get rid of some dead wood and have a smaller more devoted fan base.

It looks like it is fastened with machine screws aka stove bolts. They have a nut fastener on the other end of the bolt I assume. Interesting choice of fastener.
i was reading in another forum, that a letter to the elders instructed them to speak to anybody who persists in wearing tight pants.
if changes don't happen then the instructions are to disqualify him from being a publisher but it won't be announced to the congregation.
i am am curious to see if this letter will surface.

i was recently told by a jw relative about a congregation in the 80's i think in the uk but i'm not sure.
this cong got involved with divination big time, like the whole cong pretty much.
oujia boards the works and the branch had to go in there to clean up the cong, about half the cong were df'd and the whole elder body was taken down and replaced.. this is news to me, can anyone shed some light on this?.
