  Hashtag "BESTLIFEEVER!!"

  is it just me or does it grind your gears when you see #bestlifeever hashtag after every damn jw post on fb and instagram?.

  i rarely get on instagram anymore because i dont want to deal with the jw propaganda but i swear sometimes i just want to comment on one of those pics 'jw life is the worst life ever wake up already'.

  does anyone else know what i'm talking about?

  l think the real figure would be a real nail in the coffin for jw believers.lf the elders knew what l knew they would have a field day.many many jdubs live a double life.lovey dovey at the hall and totally different people at home and work.my guess is many dubs are schizophrenic and in need of help.with all the brain washing lm not surprised.what have others observed.

  I really appreciate you sharing your story with us and what worked for you in waking up.

  My spouse has one foot in the cult and one foot out. I decided to keep mum on all topics religion because its too sensitive a subject for us both as born ins and almost always leaves to arguments. I resolved in my heart that he would have to come to his own conclusions about the wt and my stance has somewhat worked. He see's the lack of real love in the congregation and the constant hamster wheel lifestyle of it all. He hasnt been to a meeting for close to two months now and ignores all elder calls. He's been getting close with a 'wordly couple' we have become good friends with and its broadening his viewpoint on alot of things. Just hoping one day he will finally cut the wt cord for good and leave it behind like I have.

  Sorry for the long post. I enjoy reading experiences from fellow exjws who are still struggling with a spouse still in. Im glad you saw the real light.

  "M" is for "Memorial"

  many weeks ago, i apparently put "m" on today's date- wednesday, march 23rd, in my google calendar.

  it was supposed to remind me that the memorial that jehovah's witnesses observe would be held today.

  i was flipping through my calendar this past weekend and asked my wife "what in the world is 'm' for (that day)?

  Lol I just got a reminder text message about the memorial tonight from the same elder who claimed he didnt have my phone number when I caught him and his elder pal stalking out my place 3 weeks prior.

  Im trying to think of a whitty reply to respond back to it but I might just ignore it and go on with my day.

  does anyone else feel 'pulled back in' at this time of year?.

  i still consider myself to a believer, believe in god and jesus christ, on the whole i think he taught tolerance, love, acceptance and i think we can benefit from following his example.

  i love ray franzs book in search of christian freedom.

  think it through. you still got one more day to decide torn but don't feel pressured or guilted to do something if you really don't wanna. This one will be my first memorial that i miss and i've made my peace with it already. I'm tired of feeling like i need everyone's approval. I don't give a damn and i'm okay with that now.

  At the end of the day, do what you feel is best but make sure its for you and what you want and not for anybody else or obligation.

  Premarital sex--how prevalent?

  in my old congregation, everyone seems clean.

  mostly chaste courtship, kingdom hall wedding, blah blah.. well there are lots of cases of fondling but they were soon forgotton.

  when my husband and i confessed to sex before marriage, the elders were disgusted.

  Fulano from the article in your OP you asked who was the JW needgreater who committed suicide in the DR. His name was paul holmes. It happened in 2014. I know because I was there. Those other links that you have just posted have nothing to do with the original article.
