The importance of using and sanctifying God's name, Jehovah.
That name is a fraud, I wrote a topic about it here.

if this is "the truth," why has the information provided over the years contained so many errors?
at what point does "error" become "outright lie" for you?
how high (or low) are your standards for your spiritual leaders?

I guess its time for me to ditch this wacko cult called University. I know the truth about the truth and am an expert at identifying cults. I have read many many books. I cant wait to throw my textbooks away!
This sounds like you are in a cult without knowing it and it has changed how you view university education. I made a video about how they warp your brain on this topic:

whith this recent fds and gb debacle i cant think of one teaching that they have not altered since this org began?.
Their core tenents are disbelief in the trinity, hellfire and the immortality of the soul. All three are "coincidentally" fundamental Catholic doctrine. The Watchtower is just an "anti-Catholic" Christian sect. Much how atheism steals members from all of religion, the Watchtower makes attempt to steal members from target audiences such as Catholics and Protestants by saying they were wrong all along.

there have been rumors about this craft for years, as well as strange sightings.. in addition, over the past week, a tv show that was shelved for 2 years was quietly put on air at 3am.
it claimed to interview a government employee who had detailed pictures of mars - far better than what nasa shows the public- together with testimony that the us has been to mars, using craft put together from technology gained from ufo crashes.
Rubberize them all!

But what would happen if we composed a list of every scientific and medical misconception, error, or mistake ever made? Such a list would be immensely long, undoubtedly far longer than every error contained in the Watchtower publications
So you are comparing Watchtower Bible interpretation with the WHOLE of the scientific community? That's pure balderdash as it's a gross false comparison. The main difference between the WT and Science is that Science doesn't look to predict Bible prophecy and it doesn't set out to accurately explain the relationship God has with individuals. It also doesn't claim divine command and then make mistakes. It actually disclaims beforehand that errors can and WILL be made and that the system has a way of weeding them out over time. How are errors weeded out of the Watchtower? The simple answer is they generally aren't. The errors are just replaced with new ideas and no recompense is given to the people who peddled a lie for so long. Not so much as a word of condolence. The lies are left in the archive of the Watchtower to make them look bad to the public while they erase the memories of the falsifications in their members minds. If you ask a JW about the 1975 debacle the chances are they will not even know what you talking about or show a flawed understanding of their own history.
So, the answer is YES you SHOULD be stumbled by Watchtower errors because they are made by a group who claims divine authority. You SHOULD be stumbled by a group who ignores the archeology community when they don't line up with their timelines, but use them as an authority when they do. The secular community makes no claim of divine authority and therefore the two groups cannot be rightly compared as you are doing. The whole world needs to divorce from the Watchtower, they have waited patiently for them to make the needed ethical changes to their doctrine and policies, but the Watchtower have stubbornly dug their heels into the groud. There really is no other option but to cut the rope and let them plunge into a bottomless chasm never to be heard from again.

conspiracy theories have become a new hobby of mine - although that doesn't mean i put any great faith in any of them.
nevertheless, i see certain reasons for considering them.
1) because conspiracies are how the world is run, in fact.
There have been many conspiracy theories in the world of conspiracy theories that have eventually been shown to be true. It's good to have people parsing through all the current event data, someone has to besides a bias and greedy media. I think people that automatically distrust a theory because it's one of a possible conspiracy actually have an informational phobia. This phobia is a result of a traumatic experience after being serverly lied to with the use of bias information. The human mind avoids shame like it's a plague and finding out you have been lied to creates shame and then anger. The Watchtower is a perfect example as they lie to their members and eventually some of them wake up to the lies. They then have the possibility of developing a phobia of information of a specific type. This could be religious, political or a variety of other categories. They become pathological cynics and desperately work to create a "perfect" information stream to avoid past trauma. Hiding behind ridicule of certain types of information is a symptom of this psychological phenomenon.

today, i have attended my jc meeting, courtesy of three local elders.
all three had their "shepherd"-books on their laps.
i carefully and meticulously proved to them that their interpretation of dan.
By the way, they have not heard of the new light of the FDS = GB. They became very irritated every time I brought it up.
Sorry you had to go through an apostasy trial. It's frustrating when they are blind to the points you make with them. It kind of robs one the satisfaction of giving an official defense when it's so quiclky discounted in favor of some organizational policy read out of a secret book conducted secretly in a white room. It would be like in court presenting DNA and video evidence that proved you couldn't have done an alleged crime and the judge using a string and a shoe as evidence for your eternal conviction. There is something eerie about the whole thing. Thomas Paine wrote a publication called Common Sense in the 1800's, I guess they had the same problems we do. Congratz on the freedom, though.

transfusion and eating no difference?.
today i added a new article to my blog addressing what watchtower says in public view about transfusion versus eating compared to what it admits in private about transfusion and eating.
its short and sweet, and of course documented.
If you had a heart transplant, does that mean you have eaten a human heart?
Yes, just with your chest as a mouth and a scalpel was required.

i just posted the message below in another thread, but decided to make it a separate topic.
would like to know your experience with operating systems, linux, or other related material.
i left windows and microsoft behind years ago for linux.
LWT the fun thing about Linux is that you get to figure out how to get your games to work, then when you do you get to have the satisfaction of making that particular game available to the whole community. Microsoft is the devil, no really, the ACTUAL devil.
