Guys don't be deceived, the Watchtower hit 6 million in 1989 and 11 years later they are only at 7.3 million. Sounds to me that the new publishers are all the new kids that are getting baptized because they programmed to believe in this cult.

by sabastious ini'm not sure if it's just denial on a lot of people's part, but the reason the jws doctrine is so wacky and controlling is because they are among the few religions that really try to follow the bible!.
the bible is the culprit here in actuality, but even after someone has "wizened up" to the misguided teachings of jehovah's witnesses they still hold the bible as inspired word of god.. why don't you believe that the governing body was chosen as the faithful and discreet slave in 1918?
because the only real evidence to that fact is that they say so.

The Man of Lawlessness is the Antichrist, the word antichrist is translated from two greek words that directly translates as opposite and anointed.
The teaching that there is only one Messiah which defines as anointed is false. There are two anointed ones the good and the bad. Jesus is the master and king od the children of the light. And, the accuser and slanderer will be anointed over the children of the darkness.
The original accuser is Baal who the Israelites worshiped in addition to modern day judaism and will arrive as the man of lawlessness to deceive the world and murder the children of the light.

1914 has nothing to do with anything. The time of the end and the generation that Jesus spoke of is 1948 when the jews got their nation,
Now they are in exile, meaning no temple, which is 70 years just like back when the temple was destroyed by Babylon. The temple laid waste for seventy years.
Also, Jesus spoke of the fig tree which represents the Jews, and he said when you see it bidding and blooming know that the time is short.
So the end of the seventy years will be in 2018, and the Jews are expecting their messiah, the antichrist to arrive to lead the New World Order and to murder all the children of the light. However the antichrist/man of lawlessness will arrive in a very deceptive manner to deceive the entire world.
Now 2012 could be of deception or they could be using it that as a stepping stone, or they could start the new world order by manipulating havoc.
The antichrist could arrive earlier than 2018, but one thing is certain that everything is speeding up and knowledge is increasing.
