I used to wonder
by crmsicl inwhen i was a jw i often thought... why was being in the "truth" so hard (to live it and do all the sh!t) and why didn't it feel good and why wasn't there any real good results (as far as recruits).. just sayin.

There wasnt any honeymoon phase for me! Once again, I been robbed! That must have been just for the converts, not the born ins. What I used to wonder was, how come I was making all these sacrifices, doing so much suffering and god still wasnt answering my prayers or helping me in any way? It seemed like a lot of effort for no reward at all.

my diehard jw wife has never had a bible study...
by oompa ini mean how many of them really even want that?...most jws give away any interested person to a good ol pioneer..and not sure how many of them really want to make a disciple either....i mean she drives around endlessly with her chick friends...lots of starbucks...dunkin and kk...and they dont want a frikkin study....really????

btw in my legal divorce papers response today i did say she was not blameless...stated that chose to be part of a religious sect that shuns me totally since i am no longer a believer...and that it has caused me extreme distress and anxiety....

I liked getting easy time. Tract work was awesome! I definitely hated doing return visits, I never knew what to say.

I only had one. It lasted for a month max. We studied the Knowledge book. I abruptly ditched her after she showed up for the study drunk and/or high.

I just signed up. I find it hard to believe that actual health care professionals would be giving advice on that site about "natural" therapies. I would be afraid of a lawsuit. Being an RN myself, any advice I give to people generally ends with instructions to consult with their own physician or pharmacist about their treatment options. Of course, JWs have been taught that they know more that the professionals. I don't know how long I am going to last on that site.

Yeah I just took a look. A parent with a 17 year old son with Leukemia who has a hemoglobin of 2! asking people on the forum how low can it go. Sick.
