An offer from the Governing Body

the governing body took us along to an unusually high mountain, and showed us all the friends and family members that had been ripped away and they said to us.... .

And to add another sobering, sad but true understanding think about THEM and read Revelation 13: 4-8

they think this cannot be them in ANY way and it is dead ON!

( question it and they control you loseeverything important to you) ...7 it was granted to wage war with the holy ones ( those that are demonstrating their faith, standing up to her and hearing this call to partake of christ regardless whether they think you should because only the GB are the true anointed NOW ) and authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation ( sound familiar ...great crowd) ....and all those on the earth will worship it, the name of not one of them stands written in the scroll of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered, from the founding of the world." ( not written in it because they deny themselves the covering over them which is CHRIST that WILL give them life within themselves by eating of his flesh and drinking his blood at memorial time ).

some of you mentioned that you are going so that you can set some sort of example.

i gather that some of you believe that by going and eating, you are somehow showing them they can (or should) do it too.. that really confuses me.

Thank you for you're response and question.

For us with regard to the memorial, Ezekiel applied more appropriately when we met with elders and then appealed their decision to disfellowshipped us. Holy Spirit directed us to share where they are false Christs and where there was doctrinal issues at the time. We all know it makes no difference with them. You cannot disagree ...

But where the example of Ezekiel comes in with regard to the memorial it is a SHOWING of how they make themselves an anti- CHRIST by passing over the body and blood of CHRIST, the provision for life, a resurrection, foregiveness, etc.. That has been offered free to ALL whether a priest or not.

To answer your questin also...since we understand ahead of time, they do not have the freedom to speak to us because they have disfellowshipped us,

what they cannot do is keep us out. It is a public meeting. We are not there to cause any disruption. Our presence says enough. You can hear a pin drop when we first partook as a family. And the whispers.....well .....you can imagine. We only attended our own congregation where most our family is...but because of the gossip and talk its like we went to all the congregations in the circuit.

We are only there in person because most never see anyone take communion. Sad isn't it. A Christian religion that has no one take communion.

As Ezekiel went on to mention. Although our flesh may tremble, our spirit remains strong. Whether they listen or refrain is not up to us to judge anyone. It is out of love for them. Surey I would want someone to show me if I was on a path to destruction. It is worth it if even ONE person receives CHRIST through it.

Hello check

my husband and I and sons do not go to any other meetings as we no longer worship with them. We were disfellowshipped for apostacizing from our baptism because when we tried to share so many things that were NOT truth from the WTBS they said we are going against our baptism because we had initially agreed to support Jehovah's spirit- directed organization and that we had believed the governing body dispensed the food at the proper time.

That was all true our entire life until ONE day Holy Spirit opened our eyes to the real truth about them.

They of course call us apostates and have been to scare everyone. We were JWs our entire lives and lived in a small community and new everybody. My husbands entire family was in our congregation. We were very strong witnesses and my husband partook for about 10 years prior to us leaving so we were respected by most.

We go and attend the memorial and ALL of us partake to set an example for them to show that they are denying themselves life forever in a paradise that they preach about by denying the new covenant that CHRIST says is open to ALL not just 144,000. John 6-48-59 tells us anyone can eat of his flesh and drink his blood. Whether you are a priest or not.

Jws preach they will be rewarded by this new covenant. The society requires all its members to live up to the same standards as the 144,000 although denying them access into this covenant. That is

" shutting up the kingdom" and they do not have this right. They are usurping the headship of CHRIST and plAying the mediator between them and Jah.

They instill fear in its people that in order to inherit life and not be destroyed at armaggedon you MUST go through them as THE TRUTH. That is blasphemy.

Christ is the only way and truth and life and door to go through to get to Jah. Not man! Not an organization!

When we attend it is the freedom we have to enter. They cannot withhold our entry even though they do not talk to us. Many others that visit can witness this also. They know what we are there for. Whether or not they want to hear or whether they refrain as Ezekiel 3 mentions we go out of LOVE for them because of LOVE for our lord and god. It may be the crack that makes just ONE person ask or it may just serve as a warning and example but either way because all our families are entrapped in this vicious cult, it is SOMETHING that we CAN do versus nothing. We never know what may happen to individuals in their hearts. And for this it is worth the nervousness of the flesh we feel when we go and enter in among our enemies.

So I hope this helps explain our view and why we do go. It is totally a personal decision.

Hello everyone...

Have mentioned this before. We as in at least my husband and I and possibly our sons will be attending but not for most of the reasons here that any go or not go except for my dear sister Tec who when I read this I was so happy in my heart.

They have shut up the kingdom to any and all except for a few left on earth and now they keep squeezing them out and making members actually feel that the only ones that probably should be rightfully partaking is only the 8 governing body members. How they continually blaspheme the god of heaven and deny people life through a covenant that is open to ALL including the great crowd. John 6 tells us "Anyone" not just 144,000...

They have continually required all its members to abide by a covenant that promises everlasting life, a resurrection, forgiveness of sins through CHRIST etc etc etc.....and yet denies them the arrangement, the communion that allows this to happen, and the one who makes it all possible.

Instead they manipulate the sheep into thinking that it is through them as their mediator, NOT CHRIST, that they are to live forever in paradise on earth. This is a lie. They are false Christs and they seat themselves in this position ( like in the seat of Moses) acting as their mediator when we have one mediator between god and man now,..CHRIST.

They promote that everlasting life is available but only through THEM! This too is blasphemy!

So although we will never worship with them as they are the true apostates ...our families and our loved ones are still inside. We will go as an example out of love so that they can see there are those who choose to obey Christs invitation despite the organizations disapproval. And for those that our lord is calling out to as his sheep they can see others who identify with this calling and have not allowed the fear and condemnation that the WTBS puts on us to allow us to cower down.

So whether they approve of it, whether they are allowed by Holy Spirit to see it, or whether they choose to reject it, we will go out of obedience and love for our fellow brothers. It is only foreign and unacceptable to this organization that claims Christianity. All others don't look at you like you are a freak of nature.

so i have been a lurker on this forum since its inception.

i registered over a year ago.

i jumped in several months back with a highly controversial subject of my daughter being sexually abused by an elder and the efforts we were taking to bring him to justice.

Welcome Tylin....

Wow!!!! So glad you are still with us to even be able to relate this story.

It is a life like this so sad to say, thanks to the WTBS...that so may loose all faith in the existence of a God. Of course one would. Who else would there logically be to blame? I want you to know that there are people out here that have been through a lot themselves (maybe not this much) and they still have kept their faith in Jah and His son. Not faith in "organized religion" but faith to keep them pushing forward in life and a reason to keep going knowing thay it is "man who dominates man to His own injury" and that the WTBS is an evil-based, runned big business who hides themselves behind religion and misleads and abuses innocent sheep (people).

Hope you can find continued comfort here for you and your family and if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Wow so it only takes 30 hours to be among the elite class in the k hall now. Standards along with everything else is going ooh SO LOW...

So I guess they figure that's 30 less hours in a month that folks will spend on apostate sites LOL

Double standards for elders?

i read a post on this site that said that there is a double standard for elders as opposed to regular r&f publishers.

can't seem to find it now, but i believe it was in the elders manual stating this....... thinking back, i can vividly remember one instance: the po's (a superstar in the district) daughter was getting married.

she was marrying a "brother" who was only baptized but 3 months, yet the were able to use the hall for their wedding.. another brother in our hall (about 2 years later) was planning on getting married, he asked for permission to use the hall for his wedding and was told that his service hours were too low (he was averaging about 3-5 hours a month) i asked him later why he was so pissed at the elders and he said this was the reason.. has anyone else ever noticed this "double-standard"?.

Happens all the time,

And the partiality is also in who you know, how valuable you seem to the congregation , the influence you have on individuals etc.....

Know this for a fact. Lived it. Sad to say and our family is still getting away with it as long as they don't disbelieve the WTBS is " the truth". ..they can pretty much get away with anything.

is our current and present life, (the daily one we live, not necessarily our aspirations) all there really is?.

what do we have to look foward to if we are aware that we are not infinite.

With all the different answer you will recieve...

Live your life to the best that you can go to sleep at night and rest with a clear mind and heart. Make a difference to and for someone everyday when possible. Find for you and yourself alone what brings you peace, contentment, joy and LOVE in your life.

LIVE the life you are blessed to wake up with everyday. We are not guaranteed tomorrow.

THEN... If there IS something else beyond this...you will feel no regrets or as little as possible for the life you had while here. And you may inherit something greater than even you once had.

And if there is nothing else beyond this.....you still should feel no regrets for the life you had while here. Becaused you LIVED!

so really it can be a win ...win....future for you.

I NEED HELP!

guys, i have faded about a 1 month ago...now 1 elder, who i consider a friend as a person and like a father is texting me.... i don't hate the guy, i consider him my friend even though i don't believe what he believes...he's telling me he hasnt seen me at the meetings and he's worried...he asked me if i could go in service with him this weekend...i have not responded, i dont know what to say since i don't want to go through no judicial committee or something like that...nobody there knows i know ttabtt...any suggestions on how i should respond?.

I understand your fear and truly not wanting confrontation as they are truly unloving scary wolves in sheeps clothing when it comes to installing fear and guilt to its members.

They usually never handle questioning individuals in a very loving way.

You of course may do exactly what you want to do as it is up to you and your decision my friend...

But something that may someday, sometime when we least expect it may be a seed planted to someone that may be used as an instrument in freeing them from this terrible cult and seeing it for what it truly is as you and so many of us here have come to see is this...

They taught us to be fearless and proud of what we believed in. To not be ashamed of the so-called truth. Not to let outsiders influence our determination to serve Jehovah. Blah blah bah.....

Now we have been lied to, deceived, and misled by false prophets and Christs that call themselves the truth. They have changed every doctrine and called it new light no longer following it's teachings that supposedly identified them as the truth back in Russell / Rutherford days.

You do not need to fear them anymore! You can pray for the strength to stand up for what has been revealed to you that shows them up to be false.

They may expel you for disagreeing....SO what! Nothing they didnt already do to our lord and those that followed him. And aren't we told a slave is not greater than his master?

You have a choice. You may do what ever you want. We will be here if need be whatever you choose.
