What's your reading of Matthew 19:28 ?

matthew 19:28: "and jesus said to them, "truly i say to you, that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the son of man will sit on his glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of israel.

" (nasb).

the context shows that jesus was talking to his twelve apostles.

The context shows that Jesus was talking to his twelve apostles. if they were to "sit in thrones" and judge the twelve tribes of Israel, where does that leave the apostle Paul?

Good morning Eden,

Paul falls under Revelation 5:9,10 along with a great crowd to be priests.

The twelve that sit on thrones to judge " the 12 tribes" is literal Israel. They are all saved as Romans 11: 25-32 brings out but they lost out on the priesthood because of the rejettison of CHRIST.

They don't know the REAL TRUTH which is CHRIST ( I am the way, the TRUTH and the life) or you would hear and read about him a whole lot more than you do.

It's always Jehovah and the GB, never CHRIST. And yet the bible tells us that " All power and authority has been given him from the father in heaven and on earth" and that we are told by Jah " This is my son, the beloved, LISTEN to him."

Not listen to the GB or the elders, but to THE SON by means of Holy Spirit which is a free gift to any who wishes it. But they even control this as to who can have Holy Spirit.

WOW, you talk about a heavy blood guilt and judgement. Shame on them!!!

Did Adam and Eve Partake of Literal Fruit or is it Symbolic?

Hello Stauros,

Great question. Yes, the tree of life is " literal" Not physical. The tree of life represents CHRIST. And continued life from him in spirit because the flesh is of no use at all. Adam and Eve had to have been earing of it in order to life forever. The same as we partake descibed In John 6: 48-59. ( have life within yourselves)

Although prior to their sin, their bodies were in the image of Jah and CHRIST. They could put on and off flesh just as angels do today and like the angels did prior to the flood.

Can one find God without studying the Bible?

i don't recall jesus ever once telling people that they should even read the bible to find god.. he said nothing about 'taking in knowledge' either.. .

he didn't encourage people to read the bible because 90% of people in his day couldn't read!

the bible was not read by most people, it was -heard- when someone else read it aloud.

yes, of course.

If one was blind, deaf, mute, never educated, but his heart and spirit cries out to Jah in faith, that is all he is looking for.

Not that he relies on what is written by man and tampered with anyways.

There are many faithful ones that lived long before CHRIST that never had a bible and communicated with God by means of Holy Spirit.

That is all that WAS and is STILL needed.

But for those that do have what is written, ( and can read lol) John 5:39-41 CHRIST tells us " you keep searching the scriptures because you think by means of them that you will have life and....they are what bears witness about ME and you do not COME to ME in order to have life".

So it is not in what is written but in the one that is written about and the one Jah has sent forth, THE SON!!!

He is the ONLY " way, truth, and life ".

Can the jw organization be reformed?

i know that this has been discussed in the past but i wanted to get some fresh opinions.

there are many out there that recognize the "rot" that is in watchtower but still feel that there is a "wholesome" side to it and are trying to bring about change or reform from within.. in 2002 when the rose colored glasses came off for me and i truly started to understand ttatt, i still felt that there was some redemable aspects of the organization.. i felt that russell had some doctrinal things right.

i don't feel like that anymore.

Thy have reformed almost completely since we have come out in 1998.

Someone posted here somewhere how many publications have been replaced and ones that are obsolete.

They use the internet extensively ( so it's not demonized anymore or the pornography is okay now????)

They have set up booths in the malls etc where they used to do more door to door work.

And NOW their Bible has been reformed!

So, you are right. Full reform in progress, but it won't change the FACT that it is not TRUTH! ( or the truth)

They have changed so many understandings and called it the famous " new light". That is BS.

Jah is not confused as to change truth. It is man that does not have Holy Spirit that pushes his owns doctrines and laws to mislead sheep that are vulnerable.

but it doesn't matter what they do to it, it still does not make it the truth.

And since a little leaven ferments the WHOLE LUMP, I would guess this batch of dough is rotten to the core.

So since it is as the bible mentions, " UNCLEAN" and we are told to " quit touching what is unclean " to be accepted and taken in by Jah and his son,...

The best option for someone that still has a measure of faith and believes is " get out of her" quit touching her, (revelation 18:4) And turn to the ONE that is TTAT.

CHRIST as our only shephard and lord and mediator. We don't need the middle man ( the Gb). They don't care about the sheep anyways. It's only about position and money To them.

So allow yourselft he opportunity that is open and FREE to all mankind.

Union with our lord that gives us life at John 6: 48-59. " he that feeds on his flesh and drinks his blood has life within themselves."

And the free gift of holy spirit that is available to ALL not just the GB!

This is the invitation that is open to everyone in Revelation 22:19 to "COME and take life's water FREE. This water, which is life giving, which is Holy Spirit is FREE"!!

Well an Elder told me why all the new revised NWT bibles are grey/gray in color

while in discussion with an elder from my old congregation, he asked if i had been given an opportunity to see the new bibles yet.. i told him yes that a family member had showed me one a few days back and some of the improvements (changes) that were in it.. as our conversation went along he asked me what i thought of the color.

i said well its certainly different from the black cover i was so used to or even going back further a few decades the green covered bibles when i was a child.

(we both got a chuckle out of that).

The dullest color out there. Of course they chose this. Sorta like, " Don't judge a book by its cover."

How can you NOT with the lies that are so spread throughout it!

And who really gives a " rats ass" what color it is. Its not supposed to be about anything except " truth" and who it REALLY IS!!!!

The focus as always in on what " is written" and the " color" instead of on Jah and CHRIST!

Jonh 5:39-41

" you keep searching the scriptures ( through a grey bible) thinking you are going to find life, and it is the scriptures that keep pointing to me (CHRIST) and yet you do not come to ME so as to get life."

They never get it!!!!

Hello Madgiant, Actually I grew up as a child in the WTBS as a Christian according to their understanding, which is NOTHING even close to what CHRIST showed us true Christianity is all about. So, I have left that form of Christianity that was false as is most of religions claim as well. What I have learned from religion and their understanding of Jesus and Jehovah or whoever you choose to call him is because they rely on man to teach them TRUTH, and rely on the BIBLE to guide them in truth, is why we have a world filled with FEAR, JUDGEMENT, HATE, etc ...ALL in the name of GOD! The kind of person that the bible portrayes in so many places that god is is why so many have lost faith in him. The son came to try and show us the father and what he was all about truly. The false scribes and interpreters of scriptures have twisted so much of what is written so that we would FEAR not LOVE god. What it has done instead is caused many to stop belief all together because of such a cruel person Jah is painted out to be instead of everything that CHRIST tries to tell us and show us is what the father is really about. Not what man and religion says he's about. So, as to everything written. Yes, we must test it. If I cannot honestly see the love in it, then it is not form the true Father and son! Now if it just not something that I WANT to hear because of stubbornness and anger, hate, jealously, being mad at the WTBS...etc....then of course I will find fault with it. But it still makes it truth Even if I do not want to accept it TODAY. I may never accept it, and that okay! So, for those that do not want to see or believe in anything shared by those that love Jah and CHRIST, that is fine also. No problem. The sharing or encouragment is not for you then. enjoy your day love justmom
