How Comfortable Are The Governing Body At Headquarter After This Massive Lay Off?
by Brokeback Watchtower inthis lay off and all the child molestation lawsuits coming to a head with more lay off in the wings.
i'm sure there is a lot of concern going on among those still there.
i'm sure a lot are finding out for the first time that the governing body are all frauds by doing secure internet searches to find out just how much they been had by these villans , i think the situation could be dangerous (the possibility exist).

It's 72 virgins.
What they don't say is that it's 72 former terrorists.

JeffT: I suspect this has to do with employment law and liability.
I was thinking along exactly those lines.

@Vanderhoven7 that's a really powerful graphic. I'd like to see that being used a lot more.
The thought occurs to me to replace the sign at the local KH and see how long it takes them to notice ;)

Highlighting some of his micro-gestures...
00:56 …Kingdom Halls will continue to be built [At 00:59 notice his expression change!]
01:06 In addition, all branches have been asked to reduce the size of their Bethel family. [What absolute hypocrites! A family does not get reduced during hard times. A family pulls together during hard times. 'Family' is just a word they use to sound friendly and loving when the evidence suggests the opposite is the case.]
01:18 We will continue to support special pioneers and temporary special pioneers in developing lands [again, notice his expression change at 01:26!]
03:16 It must be acknowledged that the kingdom work is expanding at an accelerated pace. [notice his head shake when he says 'pace']
04:00 We desire to give priority to those activities that contribute the most to the spiritual welfare… [04:05 notice his head shake when he says 'spiritual welfare']
04:40 …it will help our brothers keep up with our spiritual provisions [04:44 notice his expression change after saying 'spiritual provisions']
05:34 …your brothers, Governing <pause> Body [very unusual enunciation. And look at his expression immediately after saying 'Body', almost a look of disgust.]

The best advice I can offer to those trying to meet people and get a new social circle after leaving JW's.
by EndofMysteries inif like me, when you left the kh, your entire social network was gone.
how do you meet people of the opposite sex or make new friends, etc?
clubs, bars?

My First Birthday.....
by The Marvster ini awoken today and realised immidiately i'm 44 today... and after 3 years of being out, decided to acknowledge my birthday.... i'm off out to treat myself to a big hearty breakfast with cup of tea in the local weatherspoon's by the massive pond full of weird bird-life, later today i'm giving myself a gift of a 90 minute relaxation session in a float tank down by canary wharf in london.... only really have 2 close friends (it's a slow process trusting people agian) and they probably won't be able to see me today, but i'm sure i'll have a belated surprise from them both.... the first thing i did when i remembered was to rush to the computer, connect to the web and put on stevie wonder's 'happy birthday', as i listen to it, tears stream down my face... all those years of my life stolen ' but..... i'm free....'.

I tested something like this in the office in the early 1990's and it tripped the power all the time taking most of the floor out so we quickly abandoned the idea.
I suspect they have improved things somewhat?
Thanks for the heads up Simon, I've been considering moving my office to one of the back bedrooms and was concerned about the wifi speed for video conferencing etc.
I think you may have just proposed the solution :)
