Sam Roberson - I forgot about him. We had him also.
Here's a couple of more that served in this region: Frank Barr (thin white guy around 60 years old) and Br. Bicht (pronounced Bickt)

A sister in my old hall was baptized at 9. And I have a good JW friend that was baptized at 8.
Both are so deep into this cult, I don't think there would ever be hope of getting them out.
Sad..

in 1914 say an anoited was 14 years old lived up to 80years old in 1980;and then another jw became anoited say at age of 20and lives up to 100 years old, then "this generation" would stretch to1980+80=2060.so the end would extend for another 50 years.
Remember: The teaching used to be that the last days started in 1799. People believed that for decades. Russell died believing this. But once they got over 100 years past 1799 and into the 1920's I believe, they changed 1799 to 1914 as the start of the last days.
So therefore, sometime after 2014 (who knows - perhaps 2020 or 2030) - when 1914 is well past 100 years in the past, they will update the date again. People will grin and say "wow, it's so wonderful to be in the truth.....Jehovah is just making things so much clearer as time goes on"..

she was about 13 or 14 when i first started having serious doubts about the wts.
when i informed her of my doubts a couple years later, she took the information and ran with it.... she never looked back.
i told her she could be whatever she wanted to be if she only worked hard enough.
What a great story. Congratulations!

Rainer sounds familiar to me also. And Mendenhall was my DO one time.
Another DO we had was Goff.

It seems that Andy Cole is the most well known so far. Several people mentioned they know him. I didn't know him personally, but I do know 3 of his siblings and his dad.

Ellwood Johnson (New York/Philadelphia area for several years also)
Dick Jones (anointed)
Jesse Cantwell
Thomas and Hannah Fox
James and Cynthia Roberts (in California now)
Calvin and Susan Gillard (around Nashville, TN currently I think)
Bruce Smith (from the Mississippi Delta)
Andy Cole (reportedly disfellowshipped while serving as CO several years ago)
Everett Bickam
Henry and Beverly Jackson (Texas, Mississippi, Alabama)
Recognize any of these? Who were your past Circuit Overseers?
