  Call from elder

  i received a call a few hours ago from an elder.of course he didn't call me to ask how i was or if i needed help.instead he told me that "the youth and some older brothers" of my congregation will gather (at another elder's house,you see 2 elders to "get a hold of the situation") to talk about the "internet,facebook etc dangers".i told him that i will go.hmmm...it's going to be an interesting conversation..

  a few months ago i read an article about this in discover magazine.

  as i realized the implications it gave me a sick, eerie feeling.. in short, suppose memories of the deceased are collected and downloaded into a program?.

  what you are about to see is a prototype program for what i suspect may be robotic construction for the near future of resurrecting loved ones who have passed on.

  I was always taught that singing the Kingdumb Melodies was part of our praise to Jah. (I actually liked the break from sitting.) Why would they shorten all the songs?

  sister just informed me that even though she went to the latest convention once already in one city she is going to ride with a friend to attend the 3rd.

  day of same convention in another city.

  because it was just so very interesting, with all the new lite and all.

  in the waiting area of the medical office i took my husband to this morning.

  i removed them from the waiting area and they will soon be destroyed.

  i would have disposed of them at the medical office but i couldn't find a trash can.

  when i think back to my childhood, i get kinda sad.

  one of my first memories is of my mom dragging me down the stairs of the old kingdumb hell in west allis, wi.

  i couldn't have been more than 3 years old.

  My uncle is attending foreign language 3 day 2010 summer Convention.He doesn't understand one word!

  my uncle is in his late 80's .due to many health problems,my uncle and aunt won't be able attend to the 2010 summer convention which will be in dekalb,il.

  the drive is close to 90 miles from where they live.. so.....they have decided to attend a spanish convention which is 20 minutes away from home.

  someone from the local kingdom hall will drop them off and pick them up each day.the sad part is that neither speaks or understands spanish.they will sit there for 3 days and not understand one word.

  Lol at the elder who moved his family to Mexico! What a loser! How the hell can you "serve" when you cannot speak the local language. These are the idiots who are running the congregations. Nice.
