robert “big sonny” edwards of the intruders -- the soul vocal group best known for the chart-topping r&b single “cowboys to girls” -- has died.. as one of the first acts signed to gamble & huff’s fledgling gamble label, the intruders scored a string of r&b hits from the mid-’60s through the early '70s -- and simultaneously set the stage for the writing/production duo’s pioneering philly soul sound and the establishment of the legendary philadelphia international label.. memorial services will be held on oct. 29 at kingdom hall of jehovah’s witnesses (noon et) in philadelphia.. .

i am very proud of this video and article.

this marks the going public of a community that i co-founded with my friend todd kadish that is very important in new york city, indeed for everyone.

especially for those who have escaped from some very controlling organizations a chance to integrate into the real world while still feeling validated and avoiding bitterness.

i'm not an expert but that is my understanding of this: .

opinion filed.. (signed published) the judgment against defendants on the negligence count is affirmed.

the judgment against watchtower on the cause of action for punitive damages is reversed with directions to enter judgment for watchtower on punitive damages.

interesting court case whereby the entire will was declared void because the father was racist.. would that not also apply to jw's who disinherit their non-jw family?.

i am a former jw, 14 years removed.

i moved out of state away from my jw family for 10 years, and currently moved back to my home town 2 years ago.

it was a great healing process for me, especially being away from all of the confusing and controversial influences i was raised with.

My life by the numbers..

i have enjoyed this site long enough, that i thought it was time to start giving back.

it's been a reflective few days as i tried to quantify the passage of time.

how time flies.... i turn 55 this year- and life is amazing!it was last year i reached out to one of my siblings via email to see if i could visit my mom beforeshe passes as she is over 90 now and the response i got was that it was too painful for herto see me until "i do the right thing"it was 5 years ago that i was able to finally become whole from all the anger and pain and normalize my life.it was 33 years ago that i was df'd.

why is this not an issue with the wt org?

i watched this and thought hmm, so when getting a birth certificate, your handing your child over to be owned by the govt.

anyone with the 'stock certificate of manifest' [how much your worth] is owned by their govt.. the wt is ok with everyone including themselves being owned by 'satans govt' lol.. in theory no jw should have a birth certificate.

especially since they let people in the past, die over that refusal to have a govt issued certificate.. they assign you a bond /stock number, its the tiny red letters on your certificate.. and you are now property of that government , so you have no rights to your children, they can take them if they feel you are in the wrong.. they and we are slaves to a govt.. [our last names are a 'brand' creepy.
