if they did they wd be df .. what must a us citizen do in order to get a passport - and how in god's name do the wt leaders get one without a compromise nobody else wd be allowed to make?.
is this another case like the change on vaccinations in 53,because nathan homo knorrr knew he cd die of tropical diseases touring the third world.

I do not think there is much the GB would'nt do to influence governments or protect the WT organisation.
While ordinary Joe publisher was under the impression he couldn't stand for the national anthem the GB got into bed with the 'wild beast' & agreed to promote the ideals of the UN.
They will dance on a pin & use 'spiritual warefare' (lies) when dealing with authorities to save their own asses but yours is expendable.
No one need be under the impression they matter to big ole J's organisation as it rolls relentlessly on crushing any individual under foot that tries to make a change.

the eat, sleep, work, and recreate in communal groups.
they rarely mingle outside the communal group.

an xwitness friend was saying she and her husband feel very bad for having brought up their children as witnesses and they feel they want to make amends but are unable to do so.
what advice would you give them.

Wow nugget that's a powerful post................very moving.
The Watchtower organisation never made allowances for what children would hear at the meetings.............torture.............persecution..........babies being burned on altars.....................sexual matters that no child should have images of in their head.

I just had to bttt this thread Ruby............ the same guilt features very strongly in my family & we are trying work our way through it.
I don't think my parents will ever truly forgive themselves for spending so much of our lives being controlled by the Watchtower organisation.

(note that i successfully faded as opposed to ever being disfellowshipped due to dodging every elder question with "i'm not sure, i'm still searching and trying to find the answers.").
the reason why?
at the international convention this year, they receieved a new video called something or other.
