The Jehovahs witnesses suck the marrow out of enjoyment of life
by Star tiger ini believe that the jw's destroy any enjoyment that you could have out of this life!.
being a youngster that was almost born in, any single part of our life that wasn't part of the gb grand plan for world domination is evil, i still find it problematic to really enjoy wholesome worldly activities, thankfully my wife and kids don't have this!
i believe that i will probably relax into the fact that it is not that the world is bad but the jw's.. i long for the day that this truly destructive religion will end, hopefully the rank and file will become disillusioned and leave when the 100 years are up in 2014 and the tower falls!.

Good point WTW.
I confided in the cong' overseer once when I was going through a pretty tough time struggling with my sexuality & he of course suggested more bible study more service etc.
I soon realised he wasn't that bright when he thought it would be a good idea I have a study with his 20 year old (shooting star of the cong') son & spend more time with his son in FS.

That's right PP, being ridiculed at school for being a Jehovah's Witness is harrowing enough for a straight kid, but then being told that Jehovah hates you too....
Looking back I do not know how I got through my teens & early twenties.
The 60's & early 70's did not offer much in the way of help to gay kids & the borg offered even less.

Too right wobble, ALL the build up, ALL the hype.
EVERYONE had to go to hear either a special anouncement or a special resolution. It was almost as if Jehovah himself was going to proclaim something astounding AND our lives depended on being there to hear it!!!
Does anyone EVER remember what was announced at these special resolutuons etc??
Weren't they ALWAYS devestatingly disappointing?
Total waste of time & much effort.

Twickers.............aah the memories.
Us kids use to while away the hours as the speakers droned on, spotting the planes as they flew over the stadium to or from Heathrow.
The sound system echoed terribly & it was a real strain (in more ways than one) trying make out what was being said.
And the cinders........every mothers nightmare as scrubbed kids turned grey.

That's right outlaw I remember the story years & years ago of the army being enthralled at the efficiency of the Borg in feeding all the sheeples at the assemblies...however the story I heard said it was the British army..

he told me that he was worried about me and that he wanted to speak to me as to why i havnt been going to the meetings or on the field service.

How can you spot an über-Witness?
by dgp inis there anything that would let you know, right away, that you're dealing with someone extremely witness?.

Being constantly ready to give a 'fine witness' to anyone & everyone no matter how inconvenient or busy the person is.
Going to the beach for a day out to relax & your JW friend whips out their magazines & offers them to the others on the beach around you..

Identifying who Jehovah is using
by jwfacts inthe governing body seems to have ramped up the number of comments in the watchtower in recent years that they are chosen by god and must be trusted as such.
how exactly has jehovah manifested that the gb are his representatives and must be followed.
tell me if i am missing something, but it seems in the bible, god provided dramatic signs to prove who his representatives were, yet these days there seems to be none.. .

The failure of the GB/FDS to get ANYTHING right regarding scriptural interpretation seems to strongly indicate God is NOT using them.
