You wll find there are many of us who came to the same conclusions...on our own. It's crazy...the elders said I would worship God in an unacceptable way if I 'only read the bible and applied it in our lives'...what a crock!
our special assembly day is tomorrow, although, i dont live in the states though but still, i wont put the theme of my talk up here; you never can tell, but, i will be mentioning some of the main points i will be highlighting.

his dad just died and i know there are parts about me that are the exact replica of him and grandpa.
him and gramp had a falling out cause of the jw religion.. anyways, i had the funny feeling that my dad has been looking at things differently lately, but, i know he won't say much cause he's in way too deep at this point.. he came up to me the other night, and said he really loved me.

Seriously, we are so dependent on the 'grid' that if it was somehow shut down and there was no way to communicate, chaos could result. There is the new 'Revolution' show on TV...kinda reminds me of it too.

word is that up to 33% of the homes have a dvr now- a digital video recorder- and the evidence is that they just don't see any political advertisements.. 10 years ago 41% in the usa read a daily newspaper- today that number is down to 23%.
maybe we will just flip a coin in the ballot booth to make our selections rather than try to wade through the negative political/ pac propaganda to make our picks.. i wonder what campaigns will be like in another 10 years?.

i have been going to another church now for quite a while, the elders do know this and confirmed this when they visited me over something else.
however i have no idea if i have been disfellowshipped or not, should i call them and find out, or just let it go?
i cant really say that it doesn't bother me, because i would like to know.
Before I decided I was no longer interested in worship...I was exploring other churches when the elders found out via my wonderful MIL. They came to 'hang us' so to speak. They said what I was doing was wrong and called it 'interfaith'. I told them I was doing research and had not joined. They left and I was never announced.
