Hi Ding, or Randy,
Can you provide me with the reference to the WT article denouncing false prophets, saying that the faliure of their prophecies proved that Jehovah wasn't guiding or using them?
Thanks

ray franz decided to leave bethel and the governing body because he could not continue to promote or support the lies and half truths that were being told.
do you think that it is possible that one of the new boys might actually grow a pair of balls and stand up for what is true and reject what is false?.
there are so many doctrines that time has annulled.
Thanks Blondie for the clarification

There are so many doctrines that time has annulled. It is obvious to many that the WTS and the governing body has painted itself into a corner. There are more people partaking even though the 144k have supposedly all been called, they are publishing laughably twisted interpretations of Jesus' words not to mention the fiasco regarding blood.
I was thinking about the current composition of the GB and realized that around 50% of these boys were raised in the truth and around 50% came in from the territory. I think that it could be realistic that one or more of these guys realizes that the teachings he has always held dear are in fact false and defects. When will one of them realize that they have the power to effect a real change within this organization? I think the GB are lost and know it. Hopefully one of them will realize that it is better to stand up for what is right than to knowingly live a lie. Statistically speaking not all of them can be 100% on board with the doctrines of the WTS.
GB Members we are waiting for you to stand up for what is right........
God is waiting for you to stand up for what is right....
yeah I know wishful thinking.

yes, that's right, they really do not like people being able to read that book so they wanted links to it removed (it appears they have also been going after the hosts of the content itself as well).. unfortunately, i had to removed the links (which were dead anyway when i checked) and i'd ask that people don't re-post them (sorry).
i'm sure there are lots of alternative ways for those with the information to get it to those who need it.. here are the discussions on the book:.

Thanks bro dan,

action - what is amazing to me is how many people who become witnesses do so because they genuinely love and respect god.
after baptism they express a great amount of zeal.
they look back at their former religious beliefs with disgust and anger.
Action - What is amazing to me is how many people who become witnesses do so because they genuinely love and respect God. After baptism they express a great amount of zeal. They look back at their former religious beliefs with disgust and anger. They are convicted people. They feel that they have a huge responsibility to preach to the entire earth with 7 billion people.
Reaction- Once they become aware of the inconsistencies and lies that the WTS promotes they tend to express a similar amount of zeal and anger at the lies they had been taught to believe. Many of them will enthusiastically tell anyone they can about the "truth". These ones are clear about their convictions. and have a measure of effectiveness. The primary difference is an apostates "territory" is primarily limited to the 7,000,000 active witnesses. Their chance for effectiveness is much greater simply due to the ratio.
I think that we are seeing collectively on a large scale the opposite reaction to the Watchtower's years of growth and influence over peoples minds and lives. You can feel a change in momentum as more and more people see the Watchtower for what it is. The internet and sites like this have played a huge role in exposing the lie for what it is. Bethel's efforts to clamp down are futile. Look at how much interest there was regarding the release of the new elder book. I guarantee there was more excitement and anticipation on the part of apostates than there was on the part of the elders. This alone says something huge. Soon the WTS will be left with only stupid, gullible, naive people. These ones will not be able to effectively take on responsibilities as the corrupt leaders in Brooklyn die off. The pendulum is swinging back.

I can just see the news article going something like this.......
Watchtower tries desperately to prevent secret book from being leaked Despite claiming not to have secret rituals or rites, the Watchtower Society commonly known as Jehovah's Witnesses, have published and released a secret manual for their leaders or elders. The secrecy behind this new book has been incredible, with the Watchtower giving instructions to the elders to not allow the books to be sent through the mail or even left on a desk at their homes. Within the last two weeks they have also published a directive that prohibited the books from being spiral bound by any outside company. If the elder who owns the book chooses to have the secret book spiral bound it can only be done by another Jehovah's Witness male while the elder watches.
Promptly, upon release of the secret book, scans appeared online posted by whistle blowers within the organization. Within minutes after these scans were posted, the Watchtower legal department filed claims to file sharing sites demanding that they be removed.
Upon examination of the secret books contents it becomes clear why the Watchtower was so intent on preventing it from being leaked. The book contains instructions on the selection and appointment of the elders as well as circumstances that require termination of eldership. There are directions on the procedures for secretive judicial tribunals for any Jehovah's Witness that violates an exhaustive laundry list of offenses ranging from buying lottery tickets to marrying a non Witness. Many of these secret tribunals result in the shunning and excommunication of a believer.
Notably, within the manual are several omissions including the instructions on how to deal with accused child molesters and the directive to immediately call the headquarters for guidance. No direction is given within the book to call the legal authorities in these instances. Also included are instructions on how to deal with someone who is facing shunning due to a secret tribunal decision and is suicidal over the thought. No instructions are given that would direct the elders to refer the suicidal person to mental health professionals.
For an organization that claims to be the reincarnation of 1st century Christians relying solely on the scriptures for guidance, the pages of the secret book present an opposing view of a legalistic, paranoid organization. Essentially the publication is a management handbook that will be used to control the thoughts and behavior of 7,000,000 followers worldwide.
If Jehovah's Witnesses were truly the epitome of love and openess as they often claim, why are they so afraid of having their secret leaders manual out in the open for inspection?

first and foremost i want to thank all the brothers (and one or two sisters) who were pdfing like mad to get these 'pre-kingdom school' chapter reviews ready (as per boe ltr these are 1,2,4-7,9 & 11)!.
for those of you trying to see who could do the entire book i want to let you know we had a 'dark horse' enter this race and his email was so compelling he is our 'winner' in being responsible for the full book (forthwith coming in the next day or so)-- and i will reveal more about him (as per his wishes) then.. so lets not waste anymore time in reviewing chapter one of the 'shepheding the flock of god' published by the wts (a non-profit organization whose purpose of this publication like all others is provided as part of a worldwide bible educational work.
3 subheadings.
Thanks for th heads up MLE. Yknot could charge admission for this show. It is hysterical that the book has been leaked before many elders have even gotten their book.
The secrecy surrounding it is incredible. I wonder why if everything in it is based on bible principles why it is TOP SECRET? Can't wait for mine.

so today was my first sunday meeting that i didn't go with my wife.
as an update she has decided not to move out right now...because she doesn't have anywhere to go.
but she is giving me the silent treatment.
Hang in Brother Dan,
Give it some time. Miss Knot gave you some sound advice. Just be her friend, focus on the bible, ask her to read with you one chapter a night. Reading the bible by itself without the filter of the Literature will help your wife to see the major differences between what is taught as truth and what "the bible really teaches"
Take Care of that little guy. You and I are are not so different.

can you tell me why the society would ask for this much secrecy over the new elder book?
apparently some elders want to have their books spiral bound.
the branch has sent out specific instructions that it can be done only by an elder for other elders.
What cracks me up is how they lump "outside companies, unbelievers, and sisters" together. You sisters can't be trusted according to the org. Your baptized husband can perform the work if he is watched by an elder, but not you sis.
