What was your volunteer job(s) at DCs?

seeing as it's that time of year i've been reminiscing.

i used to volunteer as i really struggled to sit still all day, even with all the note-taking and sitting next to the deaf loop system and watching the bsl interpreter to try and learn a bit of bsl.. i have.... counted and voided food tokenspacked fruit bags at a sandwich stallcleaned the stadium at opening and closingcleaned and attended ladies toiletsmanned (or should that be womanned?!

Attendant for too many years, Stage watchman, Parking and Cleaning.

Funny we were always given instructions to "do whatever it takes to keep the Apostates from reaching the stage." When we asked what does that mean the brother said..."whatever it takes" LOL

Odds are there are probably apostates on stage giving talks.

Wow- the response is incredible. Please keep up the great work. The Governing Body is under a false illusion that all active Witnesses support their policies wholeheartedly. This campaign is symbolic of the fact that many of us have been deeply hurt by this organization and yet are still trapped within. I think it is important for those of us in that trapped position to know that we are not alone.

Remember there is tremendous strength in numbers.

Thanks to all for the positive response. Thanks to Anony mous for "spreading the message far and wide." In retrospect I think that if I had recieved something like this as an elder at the very least it would have given me food for thought.

ive never seen anyone step down when i went to the hall.

Then everyone looks at you and wonders " what did he do to screw up?"
