Can you imagine the liability that the society will have if information on hundreds of thousands of individuals is placed onto the Internet? I think the whole disfellowshipping policy is terrible and unscriptural at best.

If I found out that a so called "clergy penitent" document about myself was out on the net potentially affecting my reputation I would have a lawyer filing a suit so quickly it's not even funny. The organizations arrogance is their undoing. They will say that any judicial proceedings are "confidential" yet they instruct the elders to file a report with details so the branch can track it. They want to have ultimate control over the lives of their subjects. This in itself will be the very thing that contributes to their demise.

Note: I am not talking about pedophiles. I am thinking of the man or woman who made a mistake 10 years in the past and now has this mistake posted online potentially affecting their ability to be hired or married or whatever. The simple fact is that the society keeps a lot of dirt on a lot of people. Release of this is going to be the biggest snafu in the history of the organization.

I hope it destroys them.

all of us know names of elders and others inside the tower who are child molesters in different parts of the world..... now that we have some allied out there in cyberspace i would like us to make the most of it.... everyone who knows names and addresses to pedophiles inside the tower...now is the time to act!

Shawn10538- lol that's funny stuff. We make the point that caution should be exercised in this endeavor not to ruin an innocent persons life by painting him or her as a pedophile, and now because of this stance we "don't have the character to stand up for what's right?" It seems to me that it takes a person of character to actually act in a controlled and measured way. I support wholeheartedly the effort to expose true pedophiles in this organization, and have actually taken a number of actions myself to do so, but the way that it seems that you are approaching it seems dangerous.

I am sorry you see my position as a lack of character. I can't speak for EE' as I don't know what his situation is currently, but for myself I can tell you that your assumption is incorrect.

I agree with EE and cantleave. While I hope that any true pedophile rots in hell, it is stupid and reckless to post names of people on the Internet. If Anon is able to get the so called list that is one thing. Trolling for names of current congregation members is a disaster in the making. Let the law judge those who are pedophiles. Don't take it upon yourself to create a list of names with people that might or might not be pedophiles. It is a terrible idea and will end up backfiring tremendously. The plan as far as I can tell is an Internet version of the Salem witch hunts. Provide evidence before prosecuting the individual in this way.

How Do You Think The Watchtower IT Department Is Responding To The Anonymous Threat?

so anonymous has declared its intentions to utterly destroy the watchtower society.

this will likely include attacking the official websites and trying to obtain the database of 23,000+ pedophiles in the organization.. i have never served at bethel so i would appreciate the input of those who have.

do you think they are taking this threat seriously?.

They do have a list and a database of some sort. I think I had mentioned it on another thread, but once when I was speaking to legal (in Brooklyn) about a matter they were taking notes like crazy ad I could hear it over the phone, They then transferred me to the Service dept in Patterson and the brother there at the service desk had the exact same information. The Branch asks very specific questions for specific reasons. They have records on every dfing, appointment, deletion, and molestation accusation. If they ever destroyed the "list" they would have to also destroy all of the correspondence from specific BOE's and the subsequent return correspondence to BOE's (in KH file cabinets) also.

Their lust for control and power will end up being the very thing that ends them. They think that they answer to no one even when it comes to matter like this.

I am pretty sure of a couple of things.

1. Their systems are networked together.

2. The database is electronic. Pieces of correspondence proving that Brooklyn and Patterson are aware of accused and confirmed pedophiles are out there floating around in KH files, Elder bags, etc.

The best thing that could happen is for one of the Bethel network administrators to "leak" the list. The Watchtower is in a no win situation.

Attention Bethel Lurkers or Monitors. You can go down with the flaming, sinking ship that is known as the Watchtower Society, or you can do the right thing, be a hero and release the data thus protecting thousands of kids from being molested.

Seems to me like the choice is simple. You can protect a corrupt malicious corporation that masquerades as "God's Organization", and end up penniless and reviled, in jail for your role in the pedophile cover up, or you can do what's right and blow the whistle and be hailed as a protector of children. Your move.

It appears that Anonymous is watching you.

Anonymous is one organization that can pull this off. The Watchtower society is as bad as scientology in many respects and worse in others. This attack is a long time coming, and the result will be an international exposé of the society. The watchtower cannot win this battle because they are their own worst enemy.

I am sure that the files are electronic. I remember talking to an attorney in legal and a brother in the service depts about a case and they both had the same information quickly. If memory serves me right I could hear typing as I talked. The records are undoubtably electronic. In this day and age with the amount of pedophiles in the org it would be too onerous to keep them on paper and continually make amendments as the sicko moves around.

No more 3-day DCs starting in 2013?

apologies if there is another recent thread on this, but i have heard from 4 different people in 3 different geographic areas (including someone who does advance work for the dcs), that beginning in 2013 the three day dc program will be replaced by a second two-day circuit assembly.

some people were passing the info along like a secret, others seemed to think that everyone already knew.. if everyone in j-dub land is already talking about this, how is it not all over this forum??.

anyway, can anyone confirm or deny?.

I can guarantee you that moving the convention to an assembly hall won't make their ADA liability go away. Many assembly halls are not in compliance as it is now.

Strollers at DC

if i understand it correctly, strollers are not allowed at us conventions.. in sweden, a letter was written to the congregation, introducing this new rule.

however, quite a few families wrote letters to the society,.

asking if they wanted families with children to attend the assemblies or not... it was stated that they would not go unless strollers were allowed.. the society pulled back, allowing strollers in designated areas.. in norway, they didn t even bother to introduce the rule in the first place... .

This is a bs rule. Some venues have designated spaces for strollers at the back of the auditorium. As long as the stroller doesn't block any exit path or exit itself it should be ok. This is a sore subject with me. I have been to a boat show in the same arena as the convention. I had a delightful time rolling my kid around in the stroller. No problems then. I know some children's groups like the wiggles have played the venue, and I saw a picture of the many people with kids and strollers then.

The reason this makes me angry is the dillholes in Brooklyn making these stupid ass rules have never had to cart a cooler, a bookbag' and a three year old 1/2 mile from the parking garage to the center. Pricks.

Also there is the new rule that all delegates should come to the hotel to check in wearing their meeting clothes and badges. So this means that I have to get off work on Thursday, go home put a suit on make sure my wife and kid are dressed and then drive 4 hours to the convention city hotel. Just to check in! Again it is a classic case of dipshits who have never had to work secularly or have kids to take care of, making stupid ass rules. They sure are following Jesus example of making the "load light".

Can you tell this makes me mad?
