My family has known the fact that the world is flat for 1,000 generations. My father knew it was true, and his father all the way back to our ancient ancestors. Could all of these intelligent men be wrong for centuries? Impossible! This proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that the earth is flat.
People have sacrificed their lives to affirm this truth that the earth is flat. Why would someone suffer and die for something that was not true?

Despite the abundant proof mentioned above, there are some among us who dispute the fact that the earth is flat. These ones are arrogant imposters, not of our sort, who are determined to corrupt our minds. They are mentally diseased.

The Devil has blinded their minds and gotten them to question the most basic of all truths. Once they question the simplest of truths and claim that the world is round; then their minds are open for all sorts of deception. One doubt is all it takes. My fellow Villagers, never let your hearts be tested by these foolish questionings of men. Always remember that one thing can never change....The world is flat. Let this truth safeguard you and reject the false arguments that the Devil makes.

no doubt everyone has been following the juan viejo postings regarding the watchtower kingdom hall "grab" on jwn for the last couple of years.

called the mrs and me to say "wow- you have to google this" we did...came here to jwn ...became members..and the rest is history.. in the last nine months i have been calling and emailing contacts in the silicon valley for verification on the societies theft and forced sale of the menlo park kingdom hall (near the new facebook heaquarters) because the story seemed...a little far fetched.

every reliable contact i made has confirmed what juan reported.

I know for a fact that there is a concerted effort by elders in congs around the menlo area to discredit and demonize the Cobbs. I have no doubt that the source of the slander is headquarters.

Could UFO Disclosure Bring About A Golden Age?

there are a great many people - and internet sites- that preach a sort of 2012/ufo gospel.

while they may contradict one another, they mostly teach that ufo's will intervene and save us, especially if governments admit that they exist.. yeah, ok..... been there, heard that..... but could there be a core of truth to this idea?.

what would happen if the world acknowledged that et's exist?.

Metatron, you are one of my favorite posters on this board. You bring a logical approach to many things. Even though I do think there is some form of other life out there, I am not sure they care about man. That said, the simple disclosure that there are other beings out there will shatter mankinds preconceived notions. There have been many epic discoveries in the last several hundred years, each time the discovery comes when Mankind gets comfortable with the presumption that they have it all figured out.

I am by no means a conspiracy theorist but when I have read about things like the Nazca lines, stonehenge and the Tunguska event it makes me wonder if there is still a lot out there that we simply don't know. Here's to a golden age!

I don't think it will be primarily geared to the pedophile problem. Why would changing the policy be hard for some to accept? I think that it will be these issues in the following order of likelyhood.

1. Major change in preaching methods, with the door to door ministry being limited.

2. 144k is now a symbolic number and not literal.

3. The FDS is clearly the Governing Body. A GB member does not need to be annointed

4. Blood transfusions will be a conscience matter.

5. The C/O arrangement will be scrapped.

6. No more 3 day Conventions.

7. Inactive ones will be now be considered as disassociated.

8. An effort will be made to purge the congregations of apostates through increased witchhunts

They are going to dump door to door or make some significant change in the way the preaching is done. Several weeks back the Watchtower made this comment.

They don't have the money to keep printing crap that no one reads. Few are coming in to the org due to the d2d activity. There is also a ton of liability to the work. I will also speculate that they will eliminate the reporting of time.

I bet they start appointing non "annointed" to the GB. Their candidate pool of loyal, koolaid drinking, semi sane "annointed" brothers with a track record in the organization is shrinking quickly.
