hello everyone.... i would honestly like to share why i come to this site when i am able to.. i too, like many here spent my whole life inside the wt along with my husband who was born in.
(i was 6) we have raised three wonderful sons now 27, 23, 21 who the youngest was almost 7 when we left and we were disfellowshipped.
(for so-called apostacy of course)and since then all of us partake of the christ by eating and drinking the manna and his blood.

this is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..
The way I see it, if you don't like it, don't read it, just don't get involved. There are certain posters on here I don't like because ....well it's personal so I won't go there..... I don't open a thread they have started, neither do I read their comments. I keep my peace, and I do like my peace lol.
Some accuse Shelby of trying to convert and get others to follow her even though she clearly states who everyone should look to and go to. That someone is not her but Christ. The times she has stated this.....sigh, some folks just don't get it.
Haters will always hate and twist words, It's one of the many reasons I left for a while, I just had to take a break from it all.
Shelby you do a great job and I know you don't need defending, but sometimes a girl just has to speak out lol.

i wish i could be one those women who absolutely love pregnancy, i really do.
but i honestly don't care for it at all.
it was the same with my first pregnancy.
I sufferd from morning sickness... ugh miserable.
My poor daughter suffered from a condition called Hyperemisis., and in all honesty I can say I have never seen anyone as ill as she was. Everything made her puke, the dog barked...she puked, she coughed....she puked, smells...puked, too light...puked, food....puked, someone knocking the door....puked, sitting up in bed...puked. Everything had an affect on her. Many times we thought she would lose the babies, but she held on.
Eventually they injected her with a drug normally given to people undergoing chemo. That plus injections of other anti sickness drugs stopped her from vomiting but didn't take the sickness away. Even now two years she still struggles with certain foods/smells.
Being pregnant can be miserable and I really do envy women who sail through theirs.
