  v has 27 videos and 1000 subscribers on his channel and over 200,000 views so far.

  his most recent video is a satirical expose of the most recent generation doctrine change.

  Field Service Question

  i know that the wts say`s that the jw`s are ever on the increase, more people, more studies etc.

  yet where i live, (a residential suburb of quite a large city), i rarely see the jehovah`s witnesses going from door to door.

  i think that they`ve knocked on my door once, and i got a memorial invite pushed through the letter box a few weeks ago.

  i was disfellowshipped when i was 16 for playing sports, girlfriend, high school parties, etc.

  basically the normal stuff 16 yr olds do.

  i was booted out of the house and bounced around to various family (all non-jw) until i went to college.

  Comment on Loneliness

  one of the great lessons this board gave me is the cruelty of shunning by the jehovah's witnesses.

  it is inhuman.

  the toll it takes on a person cannot be underestimated.

  loneliness====it has been extremely hard for me....when i left,,,i lost everything...marriage,,,family,,,,friends,,,,money,,,,,as alot of people on the board have....i am trying to make new friends on the site here...and also in my community....but it again has been tough...it is hard to start over and change the MIND SET of witness thinking....25 plus years of EVERYTHING IS A SIN....eeeekkkkkkkk!!

  but,,,i am happy,,,,,and slowly learning,,,growing,,,,etc etc....i am older,,,so change is a bit slower than for some i am sure..HOWEVER....it is still non the less change and for the better....i can truthfully say...."I am glad to be alive"......those words would not have been spoken 3 years ago....

  been a while and thought i'd say hi to all.

  living on an island now ,with a kingdom hall in town for 18 months ,but have'nt been called on yet !!!.

  funny thing is the mormons caught up with me and they have'nt been to the island for 3 years!!!!.

  the only reason i have not da'd is because my mom asked me not to.

  i fully expect her funeral to be the last time i set foot in a kingdom hall (assuming i can't manage to convince enough of the family to do a secular funeral).

  i will thereafter become an active and aggressive member of the "vast apostate army.".

  i did.. it was a 1975 nova hatchback; i named her blossom.. i traded her in on a 1985 nova which i named gumby; i didn't like him.. thanks for replying.. syl.
