They came to Greece and gave a talk.I don't remember their names but they were definately Americans and the one Italian something I think. The one was about 50-55 years old and the other guy was about 70+ bald and had some tufts of hair on his head and his voice was very strict, robotic, tending to be high pitched and the latter told us that we have to respect elders and the org's rules without questioning. They were NOT GB members but they are something like the touring GB.I remember faces. If you have pics post them.Does anyone here know them? Are there many COs?

worst privelege ever?
by rockmehardplace incollecting money after every meeting.
i could never get someone to help, and i was always last to leave.
when i did finally have one person who would help, if i used them too often i got questions about why the two of us were always taking the contributions.

JW views on Mental Health & Counseling
by Confuzzled ini am considering getting couples counseling for the jw boyfriend and i. he's open to it.
he got help himself for an issue recently, but it was in the short term, and it went well for him.
i want to know if we started going regularly, and his mentor got wind of it, what are the jw views on mental health help?

I know a lot of Witnesses who are on antipsychotics or had taken in the past.Dunno why this happens BUT some have mental problems indeed.

Was Watchtower Elder Correct To Say This Dance Style was Unchristian?.
by Scott77 inafter watching this traditional / cultural dance below, do you think the elder was right to brand it as unchristian?
if yes, then is there such thing as a 'christian dance'?

I'm sure that some jws would say:"Would Jesus dance like that?" or "Would you dance like that if Jesus was there?"

What's The Worst Thing You Know Of That A JW Did?
by minimus inwitnesses are supposed to be "exemplary" and not like the "world".
yet some jws are pretty notorious.. did you know of any jws that did some real bad things?.
i knew a pious witness who got caught twice trying to solicit prostitutes.

Only Baptised JW's make it through Armageddon
by ForbiddenFruit ini remember the day that i first found out about this teaching.
it was during a co's visit, he got up on the platform, and made it absolutely clear that the only way to get into paradise was to be a baptised jw (he had a letter from the borg saying this).
i was confused by this, and the next day i was set to work with him in the ministry.

I always get pissed off when I hear this bullshit. Why do you have to get baptised if you don't want too?
