  What question would you ask a visiting Governing Body Member?

  so if a governing body member was visiting your local district convention, and you had the opportunity to ask them a single question, what would it be?.

  assume that you are still an active jw and are not looking to get df'd..

  I would be considered an apostate but I would ask the follow:

  1.Why do you take decisions by voting?

  2.Why don't you publish books on how these decisions are taken?

  3.Why do most Jw's don't know how the GB operates?

  4.What are the criteria for someone to become a GB member?

  5.Why can't any annointed apply for the GB?

  6.Why do you always use the same verse for wrong desicions? (proverbs 4:18)

  7. Why do we have to be so dogmatic when it comes to "this generation"?

  8.Where is the word "Organization" "Governing Body" etc mentioned in the Bible?

  9.Do you go door to door preaching?

  10.Are you sure this is the truth?

  11.Why do the elders and GB make decisions secretly?

  AND THE LAST ONE:

  12.How can the "Faithful And Discreet Slave Class" claim that they are the prophet of God while having made so many wrong predictions in the past?

  Not preaching semi okay?

  so i havn't gone out in field service in something like 10 years.

  doesn't it seem wierd that for a religion and organization that stresses the importance of 'preaching the good news', that not doing so seems so low on the discipline list?

  seriously you can miss a couple of meetings and someone will probably feel you out to see if something (spirital or physical) is wrong.

  i have just seen the hottest girl ever on facebook and turns out she's a jw.

  i swear i'm so close to make a temporary return just to have a chance with this girl.

  as we have seen, jehovah used his spirit in the past to protect individuals as well as the nation of israel as a whole.

  why doesnt god protect individuals today?.

  i'm around half way through ray's second book and have just read about this and the way the gb knows it but insists on implying that it is a pattern from the first century to be followed !!!

  unbelievable....how could they be so deceitful and sleep at night ...let alone pray...??

  Do you really want to live forever?

  i'm not sure if i do or if thinking the idea of living forever as a "good thing" was just something that was planted in my mind like a lot of the other stuff.

  is the desire to live forever something that i really want or have i been taught that it is something that i should want?

  i know i don't want to die, especially a violent death, but i can't imagine still wanting to be here 10 million years from now just because back in 19xx my parents concieved me.
