  if you are ever getting slowly toasted on vodka and orange juice and find that, inexplicabley you run out of vodka, jack and orange jucie is nowher ner as bad as you would htink.. just sayin.

  Do you mean the two witness rule? If so, as an active JW I think it is BS. Ummm yeah...... a molester will have someone else around while they violate an innocent child. I would love to "Bobbit" every one of them.

  apart from a member of the gb of course.... i've personly seen a brother gesturing so much he sent the mic stand flying!.

  another who opened his mouth to speak and burped loudly into the mic instead!.

  any others?.

  lol curious, my wife is always getting on me for saying freaking..then I like to get into this whole "dam" thing.. like they did in one of the chevy chase vacation movies.. where they take a "dam" tour, and take "dam" pictures.. i can go on for days with that... at a "gathering" (party) one night I had a room full of people laughing hystarically over that and my poor wife looked like she wanted to shrivel up and die in a corner somewhere.

  Thank God my husband is laid back, I am always coming out with something. With my close friends I can let loose with innuendos. lol

  I did give that story on here another time.....it was the announcements though. Did not realize the thread was deleted, hope it was not because of my story.

  ELDER'S WIVES AND CHILDREN

  have you ever noticed how some elder's families are the worst example in the congregation?

  some wives lord it over the rest and think they are special , while some kids get away with all sorts of things because of big daddy.

  have you ever had a problem because an elder's family got away with something and you got blamed for it?

  I can speak from experience and as an elder's kid you are in a fish bowl so everyone can scrutinize what you do, wear, say, hang out with etc. That is a terrible way to live at such a young age, that is where hangs up start to form.

  My Dad kept us in line and I am glad he was strict that kept us out of serious trouble. Not to say we would meet brothers from other KHs and hang out. We were never caught but if we were my Dad would have had our hides and not hid anything.
