  hey guys...

  on another site someone posted that the wtbts have put out a policy...to deal with those who no longer turn in time( ia's n drift-aways)...

  i did see anything on it in resent posts.

  Hey guys... on another site someone posted that the WTBTS have put out a policy...to deal with those who no longer turn in time( IA's n drift-aways)... I did see anything on it in resent posts. I was something like...the Org has said that even less than one hour a month in service can keep one a regular pulisher...and that...those who are known to be Inactive...should be contacted and told... to clean up the records!......??? Anything been seen or talked about on this? Pax 2 yall.........Go Lakers!!

  as metatron posted 2 months ago the watchtower doesn't mention anything about blood in the new book "worship the only true god".. this is a very important book because it is recommended as a "deeper" study aid for those contemplating baptism.

  it replaces the united in true worship book that was published 19 years ago.. the united in true worship book had 24 chapters.

  the new replacement book has only 21 chapters.

  Wanted to say......

  thanx for the info....we are gonna run it by my wife's family...who are very much still 'IN'...and feel the blood issue is major....

  to the point that--No blood--means No blood period!!...components or whatever!!!

  Hey the other Joel,

  I've been a huge Creed fan for some time now.....listen to both of their CD's regularly......and for the same reasons as you...

  great music with lyrics that I don't mind runnin' through my head afterwards!!

  I posted the song "What If" awhile back...it's a great Ex-jdub song if you sub in the GB for who they're talkin about!!!

  well i was sick and tired of hearing the wts tacking anaolgy to solver everything so i looked it up online!!

  i did this last summer and hadn't looked at till today, just thought i'd share!.

  i'm working on putting stuff together and actually getting a website but here's a page for now!.

  well i know this isn't like my usual posts but bear with me.

  i know there are blowups on this board, and i guess not everyone gets a long 100%, 100% of the time, but we all have a bond that keeps bringing us back--pain.

  we here have all suffered at the hands a merciless cult, and i know many have sufferd more then the rest of us can ever comprehend.. i miss my family and friends, somedays it's almost more then i can bear, but get by.

  i thought i would share these upbuilding theocratic point with my new friends, along with my thoughts as i was listening to the program.

  in a recent topic someone mentioned how much they have drifted from god since they "left the jw's.".

  as someone brought up in the org (inactive for several years)i have found this to be similiar in my case.

  i don't know how much i believe the fan/plug analogy (remember that in the live forever book?

  Hi Alias n welcome,

  I'm still a Christian...after walking away from the Org...my desire/need to acknowledge God did not change.

  I posted a topic called "Are your Ex' still Christian"...that dealt with my situation and thoughts...as well as many others here as well.

  I very much believe that Christianity can be proven intellectually by known facts.

  A book I recommend that deals with many of the hard questions to faith is...The Case for Faith by Lee Stribel

  I go to a large non-denominational church here in LA...where I am able to do what I am compelled to do in my spirit.

  Good to have ya here n lookin' forward to your contributions!

  i'am dannybear i have been lurking around here from time to time, for the last several weeks.

  this forum seems to be a friendly group, not to mention i see jt, englishman, focus, waiting and few others that are very familiar to me from h20.. i live in california.

  i was raised as a jw (third generation), got the unceremonious 'boot'(df)in 1980-81 been so long..i can't remember the actual date.
