these signs are ready for immediate duplication.
(the bottom one entitled flyer is in actually dimensions.
) its 3x 4. it was done at fast signs which is a nationwide chain, (sign-a-rama or any other sign company can make these for you).
I think we should hit them over their heads with the signs until they can see reason.

Mommy,
where in the heck did I say people here were preprogrammed? I meant that people online can be mean and its important to have a real support system nearby to make up for online coldness.

Hugs Tally,
I think you put way too much importance on what people online have to say to you. I have made this same mistake in the past.
I encourage you to develop a close knit support system offline, right where you are. Getting connected will help you with the terrible things that have happened to you.
By comparison, I certainly don't have anything to complain about. It sounds like you have had a tough time for sure.
I wish you peace and do really encourage you to form a close network of friends.

i'm going to ramble (rant) again!.
i am so sick and tired of hearing about this prophecy in the bible, and that prophecy in the bible.
i'm sick of hearing they were fulfilled by this person, that organization, some event.
looking,
I can tell you what you know will say. Worthy is defined as those loyal to the "faithful and discreet slave".

basically, all religions have the same core tenets.
1. have love for others.. 2. don't value material things more than you value each other.. i have a theory for this.
i call it the natural guilt theory.
Larc,
I don't think it is rose colored glasses. Life is all about survival. Life occurs on a number of levels.
Individual
Family
Group
Species
Ecosystem
Planet
I think we have instincts that constantly struggle with each other internally, always attempting to sublimate each other.
Survival instinct, familial ties, group dynamics, natural guilt among them. Of course this is a very simplistic approach.
That is one of the reasons I am going back to school to study Sociology. I am fascinated by these concepts.

Looking,
You are right, prophecies are irrelevant.
If you are living a good loving life toward your neighbor, you are following the message of the Bible. Everything else will take care of itself.

as the last days wind down to their dramatic conclusion, prophecies that were heretofore obscure, over time have now come more sharply into focus.
one such prophecy that bears review is the oft-quoted verse concerning the "increasing of lawlessness.
" typically the watchtower has pointed to increasing criminal lawlessness in the world as evidence of the fulfillment of that particular feature of the sign of christ's imminent arrival.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but unfulfilled nonsensical prophecies will never hurt me.

I have a theory for this. I call it the Natural Guilt theory. That is, that we are born with a core value system that is part of nature's way of balancing our survival instincts against the needs of the greater whole of the living universe.
All religions start with this core, then dilute it as survival and territorial instincts kick in.
For example.
Love your neighbor and place books.
Love your neighbor and pray 5 times a day to Mecca.
Love your neighbor and keep the sabbath.
Love your neighbor and come to mass every day.
etc. etc. etc.
The core is there. Value the core.

thought you all would enjoy this.. i went to a b'day party for a friend who is a bible-thumper in the worst way!
(10x worse than most jw).. i'm sitting around like a zombie while everyone is talking about how "blessed" they are to "know christ" blah blah blah blah blah.. then my interest got peaked as one of the women started quoting scripture talking about how the reason her life is blessed is that her great great grandmother was a russian mennonite blah blah blah and the bible says that god will bless your offspring if you come to know him.
blah blah blah.. so i start asking a few well placed questions like "well what does that mean for the poor muslim sop whose great great grandmother was a muslim?
Mulan,
I read an introductory book on Buddhism about 1 year ago and walked away with the same impression you did. Basically, all religions have the same core tenets.
