well, the first two that popped into my mind were--
in the truth. when i hear someone say this now and it would only be my mother that would say it to me and maybe my niece, it gives me an eerie feeling. these words are like some kind of spell or something. like the star trek episode where they would ask people if they were "of the body". besides its grammatically incorrect.
tbe friends. its presumptuous. i guess having met so many nasty people that were witnesses that this phrase just became meaningless. witnesses were a large group of people that had some things in common. i was friends with a small subset of that group. this was very clear when you visited other congregations or at larger assemblies.

for the DF'd: did you confess or were you ratted out?
by kid-A inlooking back at the 10 or so cases of disfellowshipping i recall, i think only 1 was due to the orwellian borg spy system.
he was ratted out.. all the other cases were actually "confessions" by people that otherwise would have gotten away with it.
i am wondering is these percentages.

if someone is curious then they are already of that orientation.
if it was something in the environment then by now someone would have discovered what that commonality was. i have talked with 1000's of gay men over the years and there is nothing significantly similar in a significant number of cases to show any commonality. poor rich, one parent two parent, raised by grandparents, orphans, abused, not abused close to their dad, not close to their dad. etc.
and would someone please describe the gay lifestyle to me? and also, then, what is the straight lifestyle?

Being thrilled or exhilarated is certainly a pleasurable experience. We are thrilled when we hear of wonderful experiences from our brotherhood around the world. We are thrilled when we look out upon Jehovah's creation. But not all thrills are upbuilding or pleasing to Jehovah. One of these is thrills brought on by committing or viewing violent behavior.

Going to the Circuit Ass this weekend
by XBEHERE inneed some suggestions on what i can do mentally, or physically if applicable, to pass the time.
i actually thought of having another kid just so i'd have an excuse to walk around and not listen to the crap but of course they dont announce the assemblies 9 mos in advance normally.
any ideas?
