Jim, I anxiously await the transcript. What an absolutely incredible amount of work you have been undertaking. This kind of court recorded testimony is so damning as a first-hand witness account of what actually happened. It's so tough otherwise when most of us weren't around 90 years ago to have a real feel for what was going on.

I sense that you are sincerely stating that JWs stand up to scrutiny. I think if you honestly feel this way, you ought to do some research. Perhaps look the Quotes website which contains quotes from WT publication without extra editorializing.
I think you might they don't stand up to scrutiny by their own documentation.

I think you've misunderstood what the have said...
They mean you should add the little "In Jesus name..." routing instruction at the end of your prayer.

Can "Disassociated" ex-jw's be "reinstated" back as jw's?
by jads ini was shocked one day when i was talking to a friend of mine who "disassociated" himself from the wt in the mid-80's and was heavy in the "apostate movement".
he told me that he is thinking about going back to the jw's and be "reinstated" but he was not sure if "disassociated" ex-jw's could be reinstated.
i thought he was joking at first because he was one of the people that helped me out of the wt.

Luna - I used to hate those zealous ones who would decide that despite the freezing 30 below temperature that since they didn't need a break, no one else should take one - esp. the ones that weren't driving! I used to love working with the bookstudy conductor. It basically consisted of staying in the car and "driving around supervising the others". Nice and warm!
