Actually that picture is clearly of Leslie Neilson (Naked Gun fame). Remember when he was hiding out in the middle east at the start of the movie infiltrating the meeting of all those terrorists?

Nice try.

Hi Amazing,
I thoroughly enjoyed the story and was completely caught up in it. I don't have any specific complaints about the story - my post was more like a "pinch me somebody and tell me this really happened!".
I appreciated your candour and the fact that you felt in retrospect that you got a little arrogant at points - you made no attempt to hide what you considered to be your mistakes. I have known brothers like some you described in your story - the good and the bad. The Memorial experience was the best part of the story. I like how you were both at once respectful, but also insightful about the heavenly hope.
A topic that I would like to know more about is the prevalence of "silent reformers". Having been out 6 years I don't have a handle on just how many R&F are tired and weary, how many elders are quietly hoping for reform and how many people are actually leaving. Any insights would be appreciated.

Anybody here have a chance to read Jay Walker's story on freeminds.org? I just got through reading pages and pages of it. I was keenly interested early on in the story and the astoundign things that happened in it. As I got to the end I started to believe that alot of it was embellished.
Can anyone verify some of the story at least? It made for a great read, but I was rather skeptical by the end of it.

pers,
You mention that:
But the correct thing to do is to discuss it directly
with governing body (as I did) and if the information is correct
they will confirm it (as per my cases).I would love to know how you were able to personally contact the GB? May I ask what you brought to their attention? Can you scan letters of correspondance?
If you have managed to get this kind of direct line to the GB, I am sure we'd all appreciate if you would mind running a few more questions by them for us.
Thanks so much in advance!

A bomb scare is serious, but I am sure more than a few welcomed getting out of the convention early.

Well, strangely enough, I like to be dragged down a little further when feeling down. I like listening to sad songs when I'm sad...

Those awful name puns.
by dmouse indo you remember those little demonstrations that are given at assemblies?
did they give the characters in the demo names to match their character at yours?
for example brother lee love, brother stressed, sister mature, sister nervous, brother joyful and my all time favourite sister new-in-the-truth!.
