umm... after reading this for a few minutes (esp.
the history and purported interaction with the governing body) i couldn't get over just how out there the site was.

again this year brothers had to walk the halls carrying signs that said "quiet please" everyone just ignores these poor embarrassed brothers.
the assemblay is going on and yet the halls are full of ppl walking, visiting, cruisin'.
Here's a sign that might jolt people to think:
"Check Your Mind at the Door"
i watched donnie darko a few days ago (great film) and it had a fantastic song in it at the end that is incredibly haunting.
called "mad world" by gary jules, it's a remake of a tears for fears song.
http://www.multimedia-search.com/download_mp3/gary_jules_mad_world/26376/.
It's one of my favourite movies as well. The song is a remake of a "Tears for Fears" song - it's very haunting indeed and fits the movie perfectly.
as i sit here eat my favorite cereal for breakfast, i remember a time when it used to offend me to eat lucky charms.
.
anyone else have an experience of things you used to "offend" you??
Anyone remember the paranoia over lecithin? I remember we couldn't eat Sugar Smacks because they contained lecithin. It wasn't until someone in our congregation wrote Kelloggs and got clarification that it was SOYA lecithin and not extracted from animal blood. I was confused as hell as a young kid about how a cereal could have blood in it. Assinine stuff upon reflection.
wow, the jw's are a real self rightous bunch (sorry about the livejournal posts, i have been bored today).. well apparently, even the "spiritually weak" jdubs on livejournal are not immune to be shunned by the holy-ones.. this woman declares to take one person off her lj friends list for their "double life".

i can only assume for this: http://www.livejournal.com/users/maidden/42648.html.
What a bunch of DAMN fools. My some of those people are rather sanctimonious, mais non?
i thought about this topic last night for the board when watching one of my favorite movies.. 1. the man from snowy river- the part when they are going after the expensive colt and they get to the edge of the cliff and all the other riders stop and "jim" keeps going and leaps down the cliff after the wild horses.
i absolutely love that part of the movie...everytime its on i have to watch it, if not just to see this part only.. 2. love and basketball- when she tells him she will play for his heart...awwww first time i started crying.
and then the music they had playing in the background made it even worse.
Sound of Music: The shootout scene with the Nazis, where Liezel the incorrigible one puts a cap into an SS Officer.
Goodfellas: The big closing musical song and dance number with DeNiro and Pesci.
Return of the Jedi: Yoda's moving soliloquy on the merits of an all-Ewok diet.
well the nfl season is upon us and brother beans will be attending two games.
the first will be in buffalo against miami oct 17th with my work mates as we are chartering a bus.
if your going i'll see you in the parking lot under this flag.
Might go looking for you Brother Beans. I am Dolphins fan and the Bills will probably whip Miami in this game now that we've also lost David Boston. It's unbelievable how bloody cold it can be in Buffalo even in October!
