I've received two messages from Rick requesting that I call him this evening. Even though Rick refuses to answer any direct questions, refuses to agree publicly to any terms for the conference call (which calls into question his ethics and character), I will take his request for me to call him to discuss the details of the conference call as a confirmation that he has talked to Johnny and that Johnny intends to go on Saturday.

This man is sheisty.

Edited to say: I've now left at least two messages for Fearon. NO answer, no call back.

I just sent an email to her which states the following: "Rick, I am not waiting all night for Johnny to come on the line this Saturday. Let's do this: Let's, the three of us, agree on a time to do a [recorded] conference call. It will not take but a few minutes, tops. And we can put this bullshit to bed once and for all."

PC, I whish I could watch your 2nd vid .. and look foreward to the 3rd!!

The second vid is blocked in Germany, I guess, because I used part of a tune distributed by Sony or something like that. I will try and upload it to another site and then give you the link.

Here's my bet... after 3 hours of "Johnny the Bethelite should be on any moment now" he will be a no show and many appologies will be offered. PC will have lost 37% of his brain matter by listening to the call and slip into a coma. After PC is confirmed to be non-responsive and paramedics dispatched, Johnny will show up.

Geez, it never occurred to me that Johnny wouldn't be on until much later. Fuh. I am not sure I can take sitting on the phone for hours listening to all the voices in Robin Williams' head. Rick refuses to answer any direct questions or inquiries about the conference call. It would look rather bad if I discredited Fearon before he has his credible guest on, wouldn't it?

Just want to say that I am not expecting any of you to be listening. I will be recording the program on my end, and will post a video with the audio ASAP after I hang up the phone. In fact, I wouldn't even bother listening.

For two cents, I'd just go ahead and post what I have and let that be it. But doing it in front of all of Rick's regular callers is so appealing.

Rick has promised to have Johnny the Bethelite back on the program in which I get to ask pointed questions, and then present irrefutable evidence that both Rick and Johnny are perpetrating a hoax on the xJW community.

Rick Fearon has not agreed to my terms, he refuses to confirm whether Johnny will be on, and one of Rick's staunch supporters, poconoporker, on youtube, who seems be rather enamored with RF's body of work, has mirrored my last two vids about RF and states I am resorting to WT style tactics. I thanked him for mirroring my vids. It went from me trying to patiently and rationally discuss people's concerns with what appeared to be me eating one of my own, but it turned into petty ad-homenem attacks- I must be gay, blah blah blah. I blocked comments for a while and ratings until the crazies stopped beating at the door . . . for one day. I forgot to enable the ratings on one of the videos and now I am dishonest. I am afraid the majority of people are on Rick's side, apparently. I could have explained my reasons for disabling comments and ratings for a day, but this person wouldn't care, and he would draw whatever conclusions, however irrational, that would smear me a bit before the conference call.

Hey, I knew when I made the vids some people were not going to like it. I knew it as soon as I heard the folks on RF's conference call. They would want my head for mussing up RF's polyester suit, for pouring water on the fire of their delusion. But there is no way in hell I am afraid of what anybody says about the content of the vids or about me for posting them. I stand by them.

Rick finally emailed me this morning, not to agree to my stated terms, not confirm that Johnny would be joining the conference call, but ask me to call him this evening to "discuss the details". What the hell does that even mean? What details? LOL

I called and left a message, and then decided I will not be speaking to him. He's just trying to handle me. He can just do what he always does- post the crap on JWN, and he will hear from me Saturday on the conference call. He will know me because I will be the one exposing his Johnny hoax live and in front of his sycophant followers.

PC you are not out of line for asking this, and I think that everyone jumped on you a bit hard, so you obviously hit a nerve. Didn't Lilli have the same experience when she questioned Big Rick about our fake friend Johnny?

Yes, I thought I was jumped on a bit quickly, too. However, I can only imagine how many times the actions of a mod and/or Simon have been attacked by posters who felt their actions or words were unfair. I can only imagine how many times they have been accused of being like the elders, etc.. That might make anyone a little sensative to such terms such as "disfellowshipped" when talking about a banned member.

Of course, when I used the term I was speaking strictly about the basic inference of the term; that of being kick out. I understand that actual df'ing from the org of JW's entails emotional blackmail and shunning and very hurtful. I didn't exactly need a lecture on what the difference was, but there it is. I get a little sensative when someone expresses bigotry or homophobia toward my LGBT brothers and sistahs. My brother died, ultimately, from the harm cause by the false biblical teaching that homosexuality is condemned by god. It pisses me off, actually. I get preachy and I get in peoples faces when they start quoting the Bible about how God hates fags. They don't realize the depth of misery that teaching causes innocent youths. So, I guess I can understand why Simon or the mods might get a little defensive when someone likens their actions to that of the WTBTS in dealing with members.

You said he set you up and hurt your feelings. I tend to believe you more then Rick, but I don't have solid proof about what really happen.

Rick offered to post the audio from the church conference call of which Lilly makes her claim of betrayal and humiliation. I believed her from the beginning. Lilly gave Rick permission to post the audio, and he still has not done so. In that audio lies the evidence I am pretty sure Fearon doesn't want anyone to hear.

Anyone Successfully Quit Smoking Using Chantix?

i have been on chantix for three days now.

tomorrow is quit day, and i am keeping my fingers crossed.. anyone here quit successfully using chantix?.

I have not had any of the listed side effects, nor any of the terrible side effects talked about in the articles, bad or crazy dreams, etc, thus far.

I decided to try it only because actual people I know who used it to quit recommended it, and reported no adverse side effects.

I took my first pill on an empty stomach which made it a little upset at first, but an apple chaser cleared up my nausea.

This is not to say that I will not experience any of these side effects as I proceed, and I will try and be mindful of them as they come up.

Edited to say: also, I have had six cigs today, all of which are sitting only half-smoken in an ashtray outside. My desire to smoke has diminished considerably; by this time of the day I have normally gone through nearly a pack.

Also, I exercise regularly, weight training, bicycling . . . I wonder how or if excercise has any bearing on the serverity of the side effects many users have complained about. If I start getting the urge to slash my wrists or go back to meetings, I will stop taking it.
