Apparently, I am so out of the loop and did not know Bill Bowen has been disfellowshipped from JWN.
Could someone kindly give me the short version or post a link that lays out the narrative so that I can understand what happened with him . . . ?

No one is "disfellowshipped" from this forum. People who break the posting guidelines however can have their account deactivated, as happens on thousands on non-JW related internet forums everyday.

He was kicked off, in other words. JW's who break organization guidelines have their memberships deactivated. Semantics.
Hopefully this won't degenerate into something less than "upbuilding"...
The difference between any forum and any KH is that you know the rules before you go in.
If you sign on in here, it means you've agreed to play by the rules. If you become a JW, they make up the rules as they go and don't bother to tell you they exist in the first place.
Just use the Search feature to locate the information you are seeking.
