Are you allowed to put youtube videos up without contacting all the people represented in them? For instance, its not me, but one lady I know on that conference call and I am sure she would not want her voice used or her comments being put on youtube. Yes we all know Rick is recording the conferences for his six screens website because he informs us of it before hand. And most people decide not to talk on the call for that reason. But as far as I know, niether she nor any of the other commentors were contacted and told this call would be used for another purpose. I am curious as to how youtube will feel about that if this person decides to make a complaint?

Rick's show is for public consumption, free of charge. Callers only gave first names and their anonymity is in their own hands once they press *1 or whatever. You do not need permission from those participating if you are using clips, sound bites, etc for the purpose of criticism and commentary, teaching, satire, etc. under Fair Use Law.

If your perspective is correct, then the WTBTS Inc could rightly sue Rick or any of us for reposting their copyrighted literature, etc., in videos and on the web.

We still have freedom of speech in the US.

If people are going to go public and say stuff, others are going to go public and say other stuff. Such is life.

Am I gay? Moot point.

There was a time, thanks to religion and the Bible, that I denounced homosexuality as perverted, immoral, unnatural, and an abomination. I held the belief that if homosexuality was indeed innate, it was a disease akin to down-syndrome, a genetic defect caused from sin and imperfection. The only thing that would take it away was the New System of Things when we all got to be perfect and pet tigers while the little chinese girl played her violin and Jose and Maria picked fruit for the white people having a picnic by the edge of the lake.

I speak out against the false teaching, that homosexuality is a choice, that it's immoral, that God hates fags, because it is a very destructive lie. Some very close to me who were gay have perished from this world, made sick and despondent from this false teaching, plunging into self-loathing and destructive behavior that had nothing to do with their sexuality, but everything to do with the guilt inflicted upon them by ignorant fanatical Christians who just accept at face value what the Bible SEEMS to be saying about homosexuality. Why should they bother to research historical context, language text translation, and interpretation when they are reading the Scriptures from a heterosexual point of view and rest easily, arrogantly, and conveniently in their heterosexual identity, so pure, so shiny, so righteous in God's eyes because of who they f#ck? Absurdity.

Homosexuals are different. Gay men are effeminate and speak with syllibant S's, like to dress nice, and interior decorate. They do stuff sexually with each other. Let's get a rope and find a strong tree limb.

Because of this ignorant erroneous teaching from the Bible, many gay teens take their own lives to escape the bitter pain and guilt, the disapproval from friends and family . . . and from this imaginary god, this feckless thug. Homophobes all over the world use this false teaching as an excuse to hate, persecute, beat and murder homosexuals. And even if the teaching hadn't come from slanted language text translation and erroneous interpretation of Scripture, and the shunning of historical context, we know this doctrine is wrong because of James 3:17: "But the wisdom from above is first of all chaste, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, not making partial distinctions, not hypocritical." The persecution of homosexuals negates the peaceable fruit and the fruitages of God's Spirit, which is "love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 mildness, self-control. . . . " (Galatians 5:22-23). The belief itself bares an excuse for Christians to commit sin, and justify their lack of love. It, therefore, can only be a lie.

So, am I gay?

I am pro-gay, pro equal rights, pro humanity.

I am an atheist, a practical anarchist, rational and reasonable.

While putting a penis in my mouth might label me for life, and while suspecting I am gay might give one justification for thinking I am partial to the agenda, lol, and just want to promote a perverted lifestyle, and somehow invalidate my argument against their hate, it's none of your damn business.

today, there's a lot of awesome xjw's with youtube channels and websites, and discussion boards, dedicated to helping others successfully get free from the cult of the publishing corporation.

these folks have done wonderful work and make up a vast apostate army to take on the wts and their lies, and, they do so with integrity, and respect for truth.

if you are going to point your finger and call the wtbts liars, if you are going to put yourself on the line and take up the mantle of exposing those lies, and offer criticism, you should do so from the moral high ground of integrity and truthfulness.. .

But this and and the Johnny thing have been undermined his credibility. We all need to stick to facts when exposing the Watchtower's falsehoods. We can do that without being sensationalist and ensuring everything we publish is verifiable.

Yes, and this is the entire point of the vids.

I'm saying raise the bar. If you are going to publish information challenging the WTBTS and their lies, raise it high.

If he is such a "bad apostate", then why wait to make this Video when he has been around on these forums for quite sometime now.

I haven't been around on these forums for quite some time.

If you don't agree with his views on homosexuals, okay funny fact being that many people don't like it either and they are all not bible-thumping christians.

So, I should just shut up and sit down. Got it. Not on your life, pal. It's a hateful destructive erroneous viewpoint, one that I am going to shout down at the top of my lungs. I don't really care if it offends those who hold the view that homosexuality is wrong. The view is archaic, barbaric, and highly offensive and is rooted in religion. Show me an atheist that holds that view, and I will take the videos down . . . depending on his argument of course.
