Disassociation Letter
by dontplaceliterature inhave any of you who formally diassociated yourself from jehovah's witness by letter sent anything in writing to the entire congregation?
would it be considered bad form to send a letter to friends in the congregation regarding your decision and the reasons for it, before/after/simultaneously you send a letter to the boe?.
i think i would feel compelled to, out of acknowledgement that most of them would not speak to me after "the big announcement.

My DA letter was 2 sentences 1) I da myself and 2) I no longer want to be known as a JW...I never saw a need to go into any reason for my decision as it wouldn't make any difference the rumor mill will run wild anyway. The result will be the same. Your friends and family are conditioned to consider you lost and blinded by satans system.

I can remember when this came out they even had a discussion board set up to discuss it. It was flooded with apostates and they were so SHOCKED at the responses that they shut it down. I remember reading the comments sent to the producers about the dvd saying how they had to ask their elders or call the society to see if it was ok to view it. Now just think the producers painted the WTS in a good light and the rank and file had to ask for permission to view it. You would think they would have gotten the hint about what a mind controlled cult they are...

CO's putting the screws on elder bodies, and ministerial servants to auxilliary pioneer this April.
by miseryloveselders ini have such a love/hate, 50/50 relationship with this organization any more, but a letter was read to the elders and ministerial servants that has pushed me to the 30/70 range in favor of hate, if even momentarily.
most of you if not all are aware of the auxilliary pioneering initiative for this upcoming april.
it's no secret that i'm not real fond of pioneering as its unscriptural for one thing.
