  i just got the "come be my follower" book and am shocked at their illustration on page 186. maybe i'm more shocked that at one time i would have accepted this warped reasoning.. first they quote jesus at matt.

  7:21-23: "'lord, lord, did we not...perform many powerful works in your name?

  ' and yet then i will confess to them: i never knew you!

  Its made me so angry reading this - they are so BLIND that they cant see the 'sickly and miserable' in their own congregations all over the world ! Or maybe they just really dont care, which I really believe, but the local elders and the r&f can see them clearly - surely????

  i'm mostly here to meet new like minded friends.

  growing up in the religion has jaded my perspective.

  most of my believes the wts is bs, but there is that part in the back of my mind that fears they have the truth.

  what is the wtbts concept of a genuine frined?

  i haven't ever found any in the jdubs, maybe some of you have.

  but was wondering what others think about the concept of a genuine frined in the jehovah witness organization?

  LittleImp this forum is a good place to be with some really great ppl on it. I found such compassionate support for my grief and loss over leaving the Org when I first joined here, only a few months ago, after being Dfshpd approx 3 years....I felt it really brought shame on the 'loving organisation of brothers' that members of an apostate site aided my healing.

  Yep there are a few oddballs and the occasional troll here, but really thats negligible.

  who rules our inside thoughts, me or my other self.

  hi i would try to keep this short and explain my topic as i see in my mind.. .

  if we are in this reality system of things living a life that would never come to us again ;like this is it we won't reverse our actions and so forth.. how can i know my own mind won't guide me to a hole in the matter of serving god and his org.. is me thinking i'm in the wrong path or is just the devil influencing me somehow.. what pill should i take.

  red or blue.. red you wake up in worderland and everything is as it was before.. blue, you wake up to reality where things are all changed.. what should i do.

  I had and still have one very genuine friend in the Org. She's considered 'weak in the truth' - there's the paradox !
